If you've been coating before every outing you should have enough build up to get by for your trip.

Run your fingers up and down the wear surfaces. You should be able to feel if the coating is still there.

I've read Tractor Supply sell a product similar to SlipPlate.
You might check there.

I've been using a product from TSC (my local farm store). It's called EZ-Slide. Seems to hold up well.

x2 on EZ Slide. Its at Tractor Supply stores. Also cheaper than Slip Plate, and the can nozzles don't stop up as bad. I've been using EZ Slide for several years.


There's lots of advice and information in forums...
sometimes it is correct.

The instructions for mine says to use WD 40

X2 on the WD40. All the new ones say to use that. Don't know about the materials used in earlier units.
