We are looking to upgrade to a newer TT withy slide. Currently we have a 2003 Sunline and it's a great camper for looking for a little more room. Our choices are Crossroads Sunset Trail 30RK, Crossroads Zinger 30RK, and Palamino Puma 30RK. Just looking for opinions from experienced owners or past owners on quality and dealing with the manufacturers.

Thanks
Dan

I have a 2012 Puma 30FQSS and we love it. Everything on and in the trailer seems solid. We've had it out about 10 times without a problem. Can't comment on the others you have listed, as I have never been in one. Good luck on your decision!

I may be comparing apples with oranges since we had a Palomino TC and we have a Crossroads TT, but the Crossroads has been much more satisfactory. We have found it to be a higher quality, better built unit. lizzie

I just bought a 2006 Palomino Puma 27FQ from its second owner. It is my 3rd trailer. I have also owned two pop-ups and one class C. I have found the Puma to be well built. It appears that a lot of items that were standard on my Gulf Stream are options on the Puma. What's there is installed properly and works well. The cabinets are all tight and beds are solid.

We love our crossroads Zinger. We have had a few minor issues with it that Crossroads stood behind and fixed for us. Crossroads has a very good customer service reputation and most often any time you hear about a problem related to service w/ crossroads, it stems from a dealership. Usually a call to Randy Mischler works that problem out quickly. Crossroads also offers a 2 year warranty on their trailers. Come on over to the Crossroads owners forum and talk with other owners.

Holy cow!

There's a big weight difference between the Palomino 30RK at 11,137 lbs GVWR and the Sunset Trail ST30RK at 9292 lbs GVWR and 9444 lbs GVWR on the Crossroads Zinger ZT30RK. And they're all around the same length @ 33-34 ft.

The Puma has a LOT of optional stuff...45 things on the list! And an optional PUMA PREMIER PACKAGE that has some of the optional things included. It has bigger 51 gallon fresh water tanks, 84 gallons grey and 32 gal waste. And a 1 year warranty.

Both Crossroads have a standard 2 year warranty, and some of the best customer service out there...and note that I'm a Jayco fan saying good things about Crossroads!

The Zinger is a traditional wood framed aluminum sided RV, R-7 fiberglass insulation in roof, floors and walls, it comes extremely well equipped, with one mandatory "Zinger Convenience Package" that adds just about everything else you need. It has a 54 gallon fresh tank, 40 each black and grey. And 16 smaller options like a bigger refigerator.

The Sunset Trails has everything included. VERY well equipped! The 11 options it has are really not needed..except maybe the 15K roof A/C upgrade. Very nice interiors, and really good looking exteriors! And it has R-15 wall foam board insulation and R-28 roof insulation...roughly twice as much as other brands.
And a 54 gal fresh water tank, 40 each grey and waste.

By comparison...the Puma has a minimum R-7 walls, floors and roof!

Good luck!

I have had my sunset trail since 2008 and have had no issues from it with heavy use. We try to use it about every other weekend spring - winter and take a couple of week long trips.
