I have just plain old white (clear) rope lights under my trailer. they are attached high enough so all you see is the soft glow of the lights. where did you get the lights you installed? they sound like something I would consider putting under mine.

I really can`t believe people would think that someone would go to the trouble to wire them up to an inverter to run all the time while driving down the road, or that someone would presume there was going to be a concert nextdoor because of them!

Nice mod!

Sounds cool.
Got pictures or specifics on the setup?
A/C or D/C.
Where did you get them?
How are they connected?
Inquiring minds want to know

Some friends of ours in Las Vegas had them running the length of their class A motor home and they were cool, and they did not bother anyone when they were on. We all liked them! We have some on our bar in the galley area we found at IKEA and I really like them. Enjoy your lights and post pictures.

The OP pretty well summed it up when he says he doesn't care about what anyone says, except when you don't agree. Since your living outdoors, a certain amount of light and noise pollution is inevitable and tolerable. After all, there are no walls to contain your choices of music, light, whatever.
I'm sure in certain locations that the lights and music are part of the atmosphere and welcomed by all. My comments are strictly to remind the OP that not everyone agrees or appreciates their choices being forced upon others just to satisfy some need to be noticed. I feel the same way about those who blast the stereo bass from their cars while at an intersection. Common sense, respect, and courtesy is all most people ask for.

Really agree with Jeff. I swear, if a poster posted about having just gotten happily married some naysayers would be asking if a background investigation was done before. Keep on keepin' on Dan

Yep, there's no shortage of fault-finders in the world. I think some people must just sit at their keyboard waiting for another chance to say something negative.

Been looking for some white LED lights that don't cost an arm and a leg to install under the chassis. I need to light up the area around the trailer where I boondock during deer season and I don't want to draw a lot of power. Lights under there would allow me to take care of things when I get in just after dark and not have to do everything while carrying a flashlight. Everything I have found so far would cost me $500 to $600 for a 26 foot TT (Note: I am looking for 12 volt -- not 120 volt AC -- hence the high price).

Yes it is true that I really don't care if you like my mods or not. Of course I care if my actions were bothering someone. When I'm camping I don't take a poll to see what kind of music everyone wants to listen to. I do play my music so I can hear it and it doesn't bother other people. Do you ask your neighbors if it is ok that you put up patio lights from your awning? Of course not. It's your campsite. Now if you put up some spot lights that shined on your neighbor's rig that would be a different story. No different here. The lights shine under MY RIG. and doesn't interfer or bother other campers. I've seen bigger issues from people building campfires that could qualify as a small bonefire.
Have a great day... I try to everyday!
