Anyone have suggestions on a great CG/RV park to winter over in Puget Sound/Olympic Peninsula in Western WA? Would be about a 4 - 6 month stretch every winter, and would need to accomodate 36+ Class A and toad. Open to workcamping, etc. Looking @ the northwestern part of the state
Thanks for your recommendations!

Winter in Western Wa?
I can tell you you'll get an awful lot of gray skies and humidity (wet windows) during the winter and living in a RV.
Sorry I can't help with a CG. I've never contemplated full timing here!
My goal is to eventually escape the hideous long winters here and winter someplace (anyplace?) else.
Good luck!

Take a look at Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend. There is also a private RV park in downtown Port Townsend. Its called Point Hudson Marina and RV park. Port Townsend is a really neat historic town. Google Olympic Penninsula RV Parks. There is also John Wayne Marina and RV Park on Sequim Bay.
For long term in the winter in the area you are seeking, I suggest staying in Sequim, WA. It's sort of the banana belt of western Washington and the winters are a little milder.
You can't stay in state parks long term for more than 14 days without moving..
Check this park..it might be a good option for you....Click Here.
Nice clean park, lots of services near-by.

Take a look at Fidalgo RV Park in Anacortes. There is also a nice park when you make the turn on Hwy 20 to head to Oak Harbor. I think it is called Pioneer Trails or something like that.
