just for the record, on Fleetwoods your hot water will not work if your outside faucets are in the open position with the shower valve in the closed position. Don't ask why, just accept as a simple truth.

Outside faucets ? The only outside faucet we have is the shower (outside) faucet. Useless item as we have never used it in any rv we owned. Would be afraid too anyhow as they are made so cheaply. All they are good for is to leak..But then we dont own a Fleetwood.

Yes the shower head has knobs where the shower extends and they must be in the closed position. This just my humble experience which I have shared with many others to solve their hot water issue.
That shower valve should have been opened if you winterized.
I cleaned flushed the tank three times. I also used White Vinegar to break up the sentiment. The hot water worked when I tested it. Again I have no water running through the hot water line. What does a check vale look like?
