The article mentions HarvestHost.com which seems like a great idea. Has anyone has signed up and used the camping services?
Tried a search but only had one hit and that was just a reference to the website.
Thanks,
Tom

WE signed up for Harvest Hosts, but have not used it. From what I have seen, it is mostly wineries and vineyards.

Interesting ... liked the quote: Andy Isaacson, NY Times, May 12, 2012 wrote: We also needed less from the world. Traveling with our own toilet, mini-mart and motel room left us open to make unessential pit stops with little concern for time. We could roam.
