Harlee ain't eat'in her Hill's r/d (can or dry). I tried Hill's j/d dry, but she ain't eat'in that either.

When mine gets picky once in a while, I put some canned carrots and/or green beans in with the dry/can mix I usually give her and she acts like she's getting a treat and goobles it down.

Thanks, but they already get a chunk of boiled chicken in their food! But that's an idea!

After giving her some of Calvin's Royal Canin Gastro Intestinal ... Yeah I know, it don't sound so good, but Calvin really likes it ... she ate that once, then wouldn't eat that either.
However, getting back to the greens! I gave her some of the wabbit's Hart's Rabbit Food with a side of chopped up fresh lettuce and carrots .... and the look she gave me was priceless!

PS We'll be head'in to the pet shop in a few hours to see what kind of stuff they got. I know they got the Blue Tatonka (that's buffalo for you english speak'in folks), but don't know if they got the Sr. Stuff.

It sounds like her appetite is really off. Maybe time for a vet check? Or it could be that the "chunk of boiled chicken" is enough for her now?

You could try adding some diluted low sodium chicken or beef broth to the food to add to the aroma of the food. Add an extra cup of water to each cup of broth to dilute.

We (both harlee n' Calvin) had a visit to pay the Doc's BMW payment yesterday. When she pressed Harlee's stomach she showed some discomfort, but the Doc couldn't feel any type of mass!
So the Doc put her on Sucralfate, one tab a half hour before eat'in.
When I boild the large tray of boneless/skinless chicken breasts, they go nuts cause I give them a treat of a few chunks before I fresh freeze them (Chef Gordon Ramsey loves it when a person fresh freezes stuff ...LOL)

Yup done that too! I bought a couple of small ice cube trays, and like the chicken, I fresh freeze the broth for Harlee. Nuke about four cubes along with the chunks of chicken, and it's a NO go. SO I tried buying (in fact I got 4 cans of the stuff) of the low sodium Chicken Broth, and tried that, ... And that's a NO GO as well!
She will eat the chicken all day long and three times on Thursday! Absolutely NO problems there. I did consider it for maybe 30, no, 15, may be it was something like 2 secounds max BUT that though passed quickly since the trays something like $15.00 buck-a-roos per tray (And I buy one tray a week as it is)! I don't even eat that good!
Seriously though, I have to be careful what I feed Harlee since she had a pancreas attack once and is why she's been on the Hill's r/d.

One question. How many pound does your dog weigh, age and what kind of a dog? That would depend how I answer your question.

Since she's showing some tummy discomfort and has a history of pancreatitis, if she were mine I'd hold off on making any food switch for at least a week or so. You don't want the tummy issues to get worse and then have to wonder if it's the food switch or something else.
What I'd do is get some oatmeal or white rice. Cook up a big batch until it's really mushy (over done). Mix some of that in with her chicken for a week or so and if her tummy doesn't show any sign of worsening then think about changing to another brand of dog food.
With the history of pancreatitis, whatever you do you'll want to stick with something relatively low in fat. If you decide to go for another brand of dog food today, I'd check the fat percentage on the r/d and try to find something that's not a lot more.

Here's a photo of our Royal Highness Miss Harlee "the vicious attack dog". She's somewhere between 12 and 13 years old now (yeah folks, for thoughs who knows "The Clan"! Yeah it's has come to mind, don't worry I'm not going to fool myself).
she's a 70lb Lab!
