If your going the route through Thermopolis you should be able to get fuel there. 14 and 16 go through the Big Horn Mountians and have steep grades. We did Buffalo to Cody coming west in 2010. We did the 14/14A loop out of Sheridan in our truck/ on advice of others decide on 16. As i remember you would be going up hill most of the way, with one tight switch back coming out of Worland and the valley. The drive from Thermopolis to Shosoni through Wind River Canyon is very nice. There is a CG with a 3 stage hot spring pool in Thermopolis. ... be safe ...have a great trip
