CW lit my fuse. It has stuff I may buy, services I may use and questions I'd like to have answered.
Why are you so offended by an honest discussion about an important industry player? Do you just not like strategy discussions, or are you in some way linked to someone who works for CW?
When people get defensive, beware.
btw. I owned a message board for years. When new members joined, old-timers who felt a strong ownership of the board sometimes got upset with questions about the board and me. I always welcomed the newcomers and answered their questions as best I could. Then folks settled down and moved on.
not being defensive but questioning the motives behind a member who joins and in 24 hours posts nothing other than how he thinks CW can be improved, why not just PM Marcus with all of your concerns and suggestions, he will get back to you, or you could just buy your own string of dealerships and run them the way you would like. However I am sure people will post that they don't like the way your dealerships operate either. good luck with your study, please post it when your done.
I know I look like a troll to old timers on the board. But go over to The RV Forum. You'll find that I've been posting there for some three years or more. And you'll find that my posts are constructive.
What I'm finding here, not totally to my surprise, is that the senior members are very attached to CW and Sams Club, to which we belong, and you don't like to see me summarize the complaints that have been posted on this very board as well as on other boards.
Such loyalty is appreciated by CW, but, I think, misplaced.
What I do give credit to CW for is their sponsorship of this board and the CEO's openness to questions and comments.
That is how Apple operates. And if you want to see real vicious trolls, visit the Apple support message boards. People there get pretty unhappy sometimes. Or, if you want to see complaints about products, visit the Winnebago forum at rvforum.net. Or try some of the user groups such as the Reyo/Via group on yahoo.com. Most people like those products, and others aren't so happy.
I always go to message boards to learn about products and services, recognizing that the unhappy folks are usually more outspoken than those who are happy with a product or service.
Meanwhile, do you really want to sanitize this board by allowing only faces?
