Our family is totally new to the RV scene. We bought out first TT 93 Terry Resort . Upon filling the fresh water tank we discovered that the hose that is supposed to fill the tank on the inside had been disconnected and water sprayed all over the inside. Since then we pulled out the sofa bed to find the problem but can't figure out how it's supposed to connect to the tank in the floor. There is nothing for the Jose to clamp to. In other words here is only a hole in the floor . We've searched the Internet for a diagram with no luck . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to RVing!
I'm guessing that when it was winterized last the hose in question was disconnected? Are you sure you are putting the hose in the water tank fill and not hooking it up to the screw-on-connector for pressurized water hook-ups? (I'm just trying cover the obvious first) Is the fresh water tank directly under the sofa or is it under the floor. A picture would be really helpful.

I'm pretty sure it's not the pressurized hk up. That would be the brass nozzle I'm assuming? I'll try to post a pic. Thanks for the response

What do you see when you look down the hole? No fitting? Broken fitting? Might have to enlarge the hole or drop the tank.

Are you sure that you are connecting the host to the fresh water tank filler, and, not to the fresh water hook-up ?
Two different hook-ups.
In any event, neither should be leaking water into the camper.
Something is wrong and you need it checked out, since you are new to this suggest taking it to an RV place and getting it sorted out.
Good Luck.

On 2nd thoughts, could it be that your fresh water tank is missing, and departed from the camper, and in the process pulled out the connecting pipes ?
Look under the camper, is the fresh water tank there ?

A pic would help. If you're lucky, the top of the tank has threads and you just need the fitting to install between the tank and the hose. If this is a gravity fill, it will be a big fitting, like about 1" I.D. You need to look down in the hole, or even stick your finger down there to feel for threads, broken fitting, tank completely missing, or ???

Scary thought about than missing!? Yikes I'll check it out more thoroughly when I get home . Id rather not take it in if it's something simple like just getting a new fitting. How difficult is it to take the panel off of the bottom of the trailer to expose the tank?
