23ft 2001 Komfort TT with slide out.
My dome lights in the slide out quit working. Fuse is fine, no voltage to the twin dome lights. I can't see any wire access anywhere! It disappears into the ceiling of the slide, through an inaccessible coiled umbiliical, into the floor of the trailer, and into the fuse box.
How do I begin to figure out why no voltage is getting to it if I can't follow the circuit?

If both lights aren't working, then it is probably a wire break before the first light (yes, I know I'm pointing out the obvious). The most likely location for a wire break is where the wire is moved back and forth and is probably in the coiled umbilical under the slide. My Komfort, although 2007, has the same wire routing and that is where I would look first. You could get into the junction box and hopefully test the wires there. If the wires in the box test out OK to the fuse, see if you can slide the umbilical sheathing up some to hopefully locate a break. I have not done this...just trying to give you some ideas that hopefully would work.

Are there other lights on your slide that do currently work? My slide has a single glass dome light over our table and then two other standard plastic RV rocker switch dome lights.

The most likely spot where a wire might be broken is where the harness has to move so the slide can go in and out. On my TT it's under the trailer and really easy to get to.
