Yesterday I was eastbound on I-70 entering the construction zone going into KC and the lanes were narrowing from three to one when a Flagstaff HW popup with North Carolina plates cut me off. He was passing in the left lane with sufficient room ahead to get over but pulled over on me without warning; the tow vehicle cleared okay but it was if he forgot he was pulling a trailer. If I had not seen him, hit my brakes and swerved his popup would have hit us. We were in my wife's minivan and not our motorhome. I wonder if he was just hoping I would see him and avoid the collision or just a bad driver?

That's unfortunate. We all need to give each other room no matter what we are in.

I remember seeing Monty Python and one guy would hold up his hand thumb up, close 1 eye and say "I can't see you so you don't exist!"

Had that happen to me from an idiot towing a TT. I was also towing a TT at the time and had to brake hard to keep his TT from taking my front end off.

Some of these jerks are not using tow mirrors, thus objects are much closer than they appear.

A guy in a DP almost ran 3 cars into the guard rail at 270 & 70 near St.louis the othe day. The hyway is 7 lane wide there and when he came off of 270 to west bound 70 he just headed across all lanes with no turn signals or reguard for trafic. He just acted like he was the only one on the road.

On behalf of all North Carolina drivers I apologize (as I are one). Maybe the driver was from western NC where we are not accustomed to driving in the flatlands where you have good visibility and lots of room to pass. We usually pass on curves while approaching a mountain top and have to hurry fast. lizzie
