How far in advance can reservations be made for Fishing Bridge, or Grizzly RV in West Yellowstone? We are planning on going in 3 years (I know...I want to go today, but DGD will be 8 then and think she'll enjoy it more.)and will need at least W/E and sewer would be nice, so just wondering how far in advance they will take reservations.

Also, do any of the CGs @ Tetons have hookups (at least w/e)?

TIA!

I made my reservations in January for the following August. That was early but I didn't want a problem.

We made our reservation at Grizzly in Feb. for that June of the same year and had no trouble getting in.

I think 8 is still too young by about three years for a once in a lifetime trip.

The name of the FHU campground in the Tetons is Colter Bay RV Resort. They also have a non hookup campground next to it.

We were at Grizzly RV in West Yellowstone back on June 7th. We made the reservation for that night 2-3 days ahead.

I don't think 8 is too young. We took my daughter to Europe at 7. She remembers everything and was old enough to keep up with us walking. She was 10 when we went to Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, etc., but she would still have enjoyed it at 8.

For Fishing Bridge it depends on the time you want to go. Both times I've made reservations for mid-late June and had no problems making the reservation in March of the same year. You can do about a year in advance.

Fishing bridge is actually run by Xanterra, but they run all the reservable campgrounds and hotels in Yellowstone.

If we don't take her then, I'll have to wait 5 years to go instead of just three!! And hopefully it won't be a once in a lifetime trip for her in that either we or her parents will take her again!
