Thats the top of the line Jay Flight...the G2 denotes that it is the 2nd generation Jay Flight...the #1 selling Travel Trailer in North America for 7 years. For 2012 Jayco stopped calling it the G2 model.
We've had our Jay Flight 5th wheel for 8 years now and it is as new! It's also our 7th new Jayco! It's abunk model and has been trouble free...even tho we traveled with our two kids, our Golden Retriever and Sheltie, and the kids friends for many, many fun miles.
Jay Flights have the traditional Aluminum exterior and sturdy wood framing, and hung fiberglass batting.
It has an astonishing amount of standard goodies, some of which became options for the 2012 models. Including a 75 gallon fresh water tank! The only thing I would suggest is getting a 2nd roof A/C and/or changing out the 13,500 btu unit that is standard for the 15,000 btu unit. Insulation is a rather minimal R-7., unless it has the optional "thermal package". It also has a real tongue and groove 5/8th plywood floor over 2x3 studs set 16" apart just like a house...strong to walk on without the floor feeling soft under your feet.
Jayco's are known for ease of towing, good balance and great features in their price range. Jayco is a 43 year old family owned builder and has been around for almost 44 years. And come with a 2 year warranty!

I like my Jayco Jayflight 19RD. I think it is an awesome TT. However, if you are a distance from the nearest Jayco official RV dealer I wouldn't count too much on that 2 year warranty. They will force you back to a Jayco dealer no matter how far you may have to drive. Just something to think about.
The RV dealer that is repairing my Jayco A/C that should have been on warranty but warranty denied because I won't drive almost 500 miles one way to a Jayco dealer was really impressed by my Jayco and what I paid. He could not have matched the quality with anything he had on his lot. Partly BS? Not so much. We're talking small town 6,000 population. Everybody knows everybody else. He said he didn't blame me for making the 1000 mile drive to buy my Jayco. Once my extended kicks in for everything but Jayco stuff in 6 months all will be OK.
Biggest problem with Jaydco is Coleman A/C parts all come from China. If mine goes out again I'm changing it out for some other brand of A/C.
I have a 2005 Jayco Jayflight...love it. A real well made trailer. I will more than likely buy another Jayco whenever the time comes to get another one, but I don't plan that anytime soon!
We are now on our 2nd Jayco. Bought our 1st new in 2005, a 27BH. We just bought a used 2007 29BHS. Love them both and found them to be extremely well built !!
Actually as far as warranty work on a Jayco, and if a Jayco Dealer is a long ways away...Jayco is one of the very few RV Builders that will, with prior approval, allow you to take your Jayco to ANY RV dealer that you are close to..or even a in town "mom and pop" RV Repair shop and Jayco will "get 'er done"!
I'm on my 3rd Jayco, so that is about the biggest endorsement I can make. We outgrew our first one when we had twins (which took us from 4 to 6 children), and our second one was stolen.
I will second that Jayco will authorize a non Jayco dealer to do warranty work, they approved me doing it without a problem for a TV that went out
