Traveling from Houston to Prescott, was planning to stay in Kerville, but would like to go a few more hours. Are there any places to overnight past Junction Texas?

Thanks

There aren't any decent places with hookups on I-10 past Junction until you get to Ft. Stockton, 200 miles away.

If the weather is cool enough, there is a Walmart in Fort Stockton.

We have made that trip often and usually elect to stay overnight in Ozona at the Economy Inn and RV Park. It is certainly not upscale and is probably even a bit over priced for what you get but it is right on the freeway and has all the essentials. You park then walk over to the office and tell them where you parked and pay them.

We were just out to Davis Mtn state park. Looks like from Junction to Ft Stockton the oil field workers have moved in. The RV Parks looked full. We have never seen this many rigs in the campgrounds.

Ft Stockton has 7 RV parks. Most were full. Even the $10.00 overnight parks had moere RV's in than we have ever seen. Look like only a couple of sites. Looked like the new park up on the hill west of town have a few open sites. Not many.

Hope this helps in you dicision of where to overnight.
