Well I’m at my wits end with this and now it’s starting to cause stress. Long story short...Last year we bought a used class c with a warranty for 90 days. We ended up finding the front window on the cab over (wish it was never there) had been leaking for years rotting the bunk and the front wood of cab over. So the deal re did the bunk and put in flylon (SP?) from the top middle down over the front to over the drivers cab. Not the sides but the front and the bunk are all new. Well that window leaks on the bottom right or mostly bottom left because of how the unit sits. We thought it was the black rubber seal that goes around the window so we ordered a new one because the old one is dry rotted. In the mean time a window guy put the old one in and really put the black stuff on heavy to get us by till the new seal came in. But it still leaked. Now I have taken out the old seal and just put GORILLA TAPE all the way around the window with the seal out. I was thinking this would get me by...how could water get in that stuff it forms like a tight bond around the window. Well it leaks. Now the water gathers down under the where the glass sits and I have to blow it out and its pretty good amount. So if I pop the glass out reseal it and put a new ring around the glass will that stop it?? I’m not so sure.... Where else can water come in and get to the bottom of the glass and accumulate??? Running light??? Remember this happened before and after the fix.... If you need more info just ask but I'm stressed out and have no idea if I’m on the right track or need to check something else...Thanks

I would expect the water is leaking from somewhere other than around the window but ending up in the front. Look at the areas rear of that window and see if they may be the source of your leak.

I had a leak I thought was due to a bad seal on a window. It turned out to be a leak at the roof and the water was running down the siding, once it hit the window frame it leaked into the RV. I fixed the leak at the roof with eternabond tape and no more leak at the window.
A common problem with running lights, the lens get cracked from the hold down screw being turned too tight. The crack will allow water in. This water might be running on the inside of the Filon Siding to the window and then finding a path inside.
Last resort is to use the black gunk and seal every little hole or crack around the glass and frame. If you take your time you can make it look like it was supposed to be sealed that way.

What the bear II said is very true so maybe you should try pouring water on just the window, from a bucket, and see if any leaks on the inside. If not then try the lights, one at a time. Try to isolate the source, in other words.

"mostly bottom left because of how the unit sits." hmmm. does it gather water from dew overnight and just drip all day long? Mine did until I put a few inches of blocks under the front wheels. It's an RV not a submarine.
If you've taken the window out and resealed the frame to sidewall connection and replaced the rubber extrusion then its probably somewhere else. Pop the running lights out and seal the holes up good and check the side to roof cap piece especially where the curved front meets the flat roof in the corners.
Good Luck!

I had the same problem and still wonder if I fixed it. I took the window out and had delamination so I liquid nailed everywhere and resealed the window. Hope it works. Also check your weep holes and the track of the window. If theres alot of gunk in the track it will overflow on the walls and down on the cabover bed. Hope you find your leak and good luck.

Well Tuesday a guy is coming to reseal the window glass which needs to be done anyway. Then he will put new seal ring on. If that does not stop the problem than I will know its from the running lights or the roof...If its from the roof I'm guessing its at the part where the Flion meets the rubber roof???? Is that where you would start??? Because I looked at the joint and it seems sealed pretty well and the lights are not cracked and working. I guess the hose is the next step as well. Anymore input is all ways a help and thanks so far!!!!

Well an update the guy resealed the glass in which it did stop the water from comming inside the rv via the window. But as I expected the water is still laying in that metal tray across the front under the outer seal...Thee are no weep holes on this window. Should there be??? how does the water escape?? Or is the water never expected to get in the tray at the bottom of the window...I leveled the RV and all that did was allow the water to not just build up in lower right corner. It now runs across the whole bottom its about 1/4 inch of water. Its not going anywhere that I can tell or else it would be at the bottom of the cab over above where the driver seat is on the outside...So does the water just sit there??? Im even more confused....Thanks
