Hey guys well I'm new to this great forum and to tc camping.

I'm heading out tomattow for my yearly fishing trip to Brigport Ca.

Just wated to show you guys my set up and to be sure I tied them down right

So if you see anything wrong in the pictures let me know thanks

Also I have a short bed truck so I had to put the tail get down because the tc in 8 ft long and truck bed is only 6.5.
is this ok?

Thanks guys

Probably not a big deal but, the threaded rods should go up to prevent water intrusion per Happijac.

Good luck on your fishing trip!

We have a 8' 6" camper in a short box (6.5) truck and we remove the tail gate. The camper doesn't need the support and it is questionable how much weight you can put on it anyway. Also Rocks and stuff thrown up will do a real number on the tail gate finish.

Dealer told me to remove the tailgate. Heavy bouncing could induce too much stress on the cables of the tailgate. Have fun
