While staying at an RV park this summer I stepped of the edge of the pool in the 9 foot zone. However the sides were not straight up and down but slanted. I hit the slope side at about 4 feet. Broke my tiba 1300 miles from home plus cut trip short by 2 weeks. Now I am off work for 3 months minimum.

Sorry to hear you were injured during a trip. Sounds like a bad break. I had a friend who jumped into a pool and broke her leg too so I'm not surprised. Anything that cuts short a camping trip is a bad break. Hope you are comfortable in this heat and heal sooner rather than later.

WOW, what a bummer, being off work for 3 months isn't a bad thing, but if you can't go camping for those same months, that stinks.
