And my wife tells me the baby is coming! Has to be 3 weeks early. I tell her to calm down, but she is screaming at me to get her to a hospital now! So here we are in the motorhome with toad behind us behind this painfully slow semi. So when the passing area comes, I pull to go around him, and this guy tries to beat us around! I don't know if he was texting or what, but he didn't see me til the last minute, and drops a tire onto the shoulder to miss us. My wife is still screaming, and I'm hoping this guy doesn't go postal or something. He looked mad. He thinks he has problems!
Anyhow, it was a false alarm. Gas or something I guess.
Wish I could tell him sorry, but had a lot going on.

No matter where you are, you'd be much safer and better off in the long run to pull over and call 911. Or dial 911 and give them where you are, highway or town you're close to...what you are driving and what's going on.

Driving while a potential medical situation is occuring is a bad idea.

ford is so right. but to make matters worse, I was in 'Washington and a guy in a mh pulled the same stunt you did about passing in front of me. no I was not texting, just trying to pass the mh so look in your mirrors before you change lanes, it is a must, not funny like you make it out to be.

Pull over and wait for the baby to come out....while calling 911 of course. Always remember...Make 2 tight ties about 1 inch apart....cut the cord between the 2 ties....save the afterbirth.

Now you know all you need to know about delivering babys

All I am saying is that you have no idea what is going on with the other driver. Good for you for looking out for them and saving you! I don't think you can surmise that he is an idiot from one action though. Maybe he does this all the time and he is an idiot. Maybe he was having a medical issue and was out of it. Who knows? Who cares? You lived and it isn't worth getting your shorts in a wad big enough to save that anger up until you can get home and post it on an RV board. Life is too short. Don't spend it ticked off!

We have officers that cover a couple of hundred miles of interstate on their beat. That means they may pass by a given place once or twice during their entire shift. I don't believe for a second it would be better to wait for an hour or more in a case like the OP's.
There have been so many cuts to state and city budgets with the resulting cuts in staff that we need to get used to the idea that we have to take care of our selves more than relying on the "authorities".

Ahh Geeze. Please don't take my OP seriously. I was just making a point to old guy about the thread he started and how you may want to think about what is going on with others before you start a thread out of anger and call people idiots. It was all tounge in cheek. I'm all done having kids, and still enjoying the heck out of the one I have.
Chill out, be safe and have fun. We only go around once. Don't wasted it being angry all the time.
