My wife and I have camped since the late 70's with our kids. We were both Scout Leaders (Girl & Boy)and camped with our units too. We started tent camping, then got a Coleman Williamsburg Pop-up in 1984 which we traded in on a 26 ft Travel Trailer in 1989 to take a month long trip up the eastern coast. We sold the TT in 1990 and stopped family camping for a while although I was doing a lot of tent camping with my son in the Boy Scouts. My wife and I bought another tent in 1995 and in 2004 got a small Coleman Taos Popup. I found out it was harder to crank at 60 than it was 40 so this year (after getting rid of the last of 3 kids) we traded the Popup for a Jayco Flight 20 ft TT. My better half and I plus the 2 dogs (Sassy and Andy) are really enjoying it and keep looking for places to take it camping.

It's said ignorance and apathy cause most of the world's problems, but I don't know and I don't care.
