We raised 5 kids, camping with a large heavy canvas tent atop a V W Bus in the 70s. Lots of fun but when the kids grew up we graduated to a VW Westfalia Pop Top Camper with all the comforts of home, then moved on to a 23' Class C and recently traded it in for an '07 Newmar, Bay Star.
Love the life, love the people we meet. There is no excuse for being a homebody unless it's on wheels!
