RE: KS tpk;Hwy 54; AZ Bush Hwy-Usery Pass Rd.

Albuquerque is probably no worst than any other city of that size but we always seem to run into construction on our way through so we therefore try to hit it at other than commuting hours.

RE: ...

I must be missing something here regarding the task of the moderators. It seems they choose to delete anything that "they think" is the least bit controversial and yet this OP has been here for several hours and is totally against forum rules.

RE: Would the government stop the sale of GM?

The government may be looking at giving the Chinese GM to offset some of the money we owe them!!

RE: Return To Navajo NM - Keet Seel

seldomseensmith,Great pictures of your wonderful experience. The art of discovery is a wonderful thing. I have hiked into many of the Anasazi ruins on the Colorado Plateau and have many fond memories of this amazing culture and their ability to have survived and thrived in this truly amazing and beautiful area.

RE: Arizona I-40 Rest Stops Closed

I know where much of Arizona's state revenue goes. And I don't like it.
I'm reading your mind pardoner and I'm with you! You sure don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure where the cash drain is.
Worst than closing the rest Areas is the fact that the state is on the verge of being broke as is the case with several other states.

RE: Is everyone using Skype ?

No, and I'm not planning to do so. Some of my friends have Skype and they continuously are faced with dropped calls. I'm sure this is a problem with server unreliability but I don't need that aggravation.

RE: Thinking of getting Asus EeePC 1005HA-P

I have the Asus 1000HE which has Bluetooth. I would highly recommend this model as you can use wireless GPS with this unit. I would also recommend that you install an additional 1GB of Ram which will help with processing multiple functions such as E-Mail and internet access at the same time. The He model can be purchased for about $360.00.

Camping near Washington D.C or near Metro line

Seeking info on RV campgrounds near the Washington D.C area or adjacent to Metro Line. Any outlying areas that have metro stops would be fine.

RE: Forum running slow?

I rarely have problems on this forum but recently (within the past 1 1/2 weeks) it has be a real PITA. I have a high speed broadband net server and never have a problem on other sites I use daily.

RE: Camping at Steamboat Lake State Park, CO

We have camped at Steamboat lake and Pearl Lake several times in the past. I must warn you that these locations are in the heart of the Lodgepole Beetle kill area and that many of the trees in the campgrounds have been removed offering much less shade that prior to the last couple of years.
There are still beautiful wildflowers in the spring but a lot of the luster has diminished because of lack of trees both in the campgrounds and on the adjacent mountains.
As a note many locations especially on the western slopes of the Continental Divide are plagued with the same conditions.
If you are looking for a beautiful state park I would suggest Ridgeway State Park north of Ouray, Co. The beetle kill is not as severe in that area.

RE: Love this forum BUT

Rarely if ever do I encounter any problems with the forum and if I do I just refresh page and all is well. It can be really irritating if a website takes more than a few seconds to load a page. Never experienced "server not responding" message.

If you call the parts department of a GMC dealership with your VIN# they should be able to tell you what you need to know about your ratio.

RE: RAM upgrade

It is a very simple operation. Just make sure you select the correct kind of Ram upgrade. It is just a matter of placing the Ram module in the proper slot and pressing down until it locks itself in the slot by a lock mechanism on each side of the card.
