RE: On-demand water pump?

Upgrade to a more GPM (gallons per minute) pump. Or check your filters for being plugged. More likely the latter.

RE: CareFree Awning Stop Working .... Update & fixed

2ndhom......Get a ladder out and go to the plug at the top right corner of the awning (as you face it). Disconnect the plug, make sure it's clean and then reconnect, making sure it's tight. Thanks ... will do that as soon as we have a clearing of rain today.

RE: CareFree Awning Stop Working .... Update & fixed

Ther Carefree web site has troubleshooting guides available for download. I had to troubleshoot mine and ended up buying a new control box. I looked on their web site and could only find "frequently aksed questions". Clicked on all items and could not find/see a "troubleshooting" line item.

CareFree Awning Stop Working .... Update & fixed

Where to look first ?????? Awning is the 21 footer, windsmart auto-retract (awning will retract if too much wind) multi-switch (there's an operating switch inside the coach and one on the bottom arm of the awning).I pushed the switch to push out the awning, it moved out about 4 inches and then stopped. Now the awning won't move in or out. The on/off switch is lit as if there's is power going to the switch. I have the operators manual in front of me and there isn't a trouble shooting section. There is a "jump start" suggestion on page 16 puting 12 volts right to the motor pigtail but don't want to go there yet in that it's rainng outside!! Any suggestions folks?? Thanks ...... Stoped raining, got out the ladder, climbed up and found the Awning electrical connector, turned it to disconnect, looked inside and found a slight bit of corrosion in and around the ground pin. Cleaned it out and sprayed a little WD-40, re-connected, pushed the extend toggle switch and the awning moved!!! Thanks all for your help!!

RE: bathroom switch

1994 Winnebago Brave 27RC in the bathroom has two rocker switches. One operates the light, what is the other one for??? Are you asking because it doesn't turn anything on?

Heat Pump Condensation Drain Line ......

There are 2 Heat Pumps on the roof of my 2006 40' 4 slide Beaver Coach. The front one has begun sending the water condensation onto the roof and down the exterior side of the driver's side wall. Question: before I begin removing the shroud/protective housing what should I be looking for in the way of a plugged drain hole/tubing?

RE: Hooking up a Dish Receiver

The TV antenna amplifier is off. We get a picture. Does not need to be on channel 3. We have a Dish 211 receiver with a tail gater. The problem is we cannot control the Dish receiver from any of the TV'S with the Dish remote. Can you change channels using the buttons on the box? Good batteries in the remote?

RE: Hooking up a Dish Receiver

So let us ask a couple of questions back to you. What do you mean "cannot operate". Are you saying you cannot get a picture on any of the two TV's? Are you getting "snow" on the TV's or just a black screen? Usually there is a menu on the "input" ... have you clicked on the correct item .... there is usually a "DVD", cable/dish line item? Like the previous input person said have you pushed the button to off for the antenae? Do you have the channel on #3 .... a standard channel for receiving a signal? Give us more details. :h

RE: Electrical problem

The batteries are brand new. I have meters on the dash that tells me the voltage for the house batteries and the battery that starts the motor. Before I start the motor the house batteries read zero. After I start the motor the house batteries read 14.2. After I turn the motor off the motor the house batteries stay on for a short period of time and then everything shuts down. I have not tried using the generator or the house current yet. I am going to check the terminals for corrosion and looseness this weekend. If I find that they are clean and tight does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks for all of your responses. New batteries? Could mean the cables were not reassembled correctly.:h

RE: Electrical problem

Dead batts and maybe sooooo dead they won't take a charge !!! Or terminals are overly Corroded. Have your batts checked if you don't have a tester.

RE: Driving Hwy 395 ..... Oregon to Nevada

I'll check the ODOT web site ... it tells you some of the temps at a higher elevation as well as a live camera. Haven't found one for California and Nevada yet.
