RE: bathroom switch

1994 Winnebago Brave 27RC in the bathroom has two rocker switches. One operates the light, what is the other one for??? Are you asking because it doesn't turn anything on?

Heat Pump Condensation Drain Line ......

There are 2 Heat Pumps on the roof of my 2006 40' 4 slide Beaver Coach. The front one has begun sending the water condensation onto the roof and down the exterior side of the driver's side wall. Question: before I begin removing the shroud/protective housing what should I be looking for in the way of a plugged drain hole/tubing?

RE: Hooking up a Dish Receiver

The TV antenna amplifier is off. We get a picture. Does not need to be on channel 3. We have a Dish 211 receiver with a tail gater. The problem is we cannot control the Dish receiver from any of the TV'S with the Dish remote. Can you change channels using the buttons on the box? Good batteries in the remote?

RE: Hooking up a Dish Receiver

So let us ask a couple of questions back to you. What do you mean "cannot operate". Are you saying you cannot get a picture on any of the two TV's? Are you getting "snow" on the TV's or just a black screen? Usually there is a menu on the "input" ... have you clicked on the correct item .... there is usually a "DVD", cable/dish line item? Like the previous input person said have you pushed the button to off for the antenae? Do you have the channel on #3 .... a standard channel for receiving a signal? Give us more details. :h

RE: Electrical problem

The batteries are brand new. I have meters on the dash that tells me the voltage for the house batteries and the battery that starts the motor. Before I start the motor the house batteries read zero. After I start the motor the house batteries read 14.2. After I turn the motor off the motor the house batteries stay on for a short period of time and then everything shuts down. I have not tried using the generator or the house current yet. I am going to check the terminals for corrosion and looseness this weekend. If I find that they are clean and tight does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks for all of your responses. New batteries? Could mean the cables were not reassembled correctly.:h

RE: Electrical problem

Dead batts and maybe sooooo dead they won't take a charge !!! Or terminals are overly Corroded. Have your batts checked if you don't have a tester.

RE: Driving Hwy 395 ..... Oregon to Nevada

I'll check the ODOT web site ... it tells you some of the temps at a higher elevation as well as a live camera. Haven't found one for California and Nevada yet.

RE: Driving Hwy 395 ..... Oregon to Nevada

Just north of Bishop there is a gem of a campground off the highway about a mile. Have a look at Brown's Millpond Campground. Mike for what reason would he go to bishop? If hes going to LV? and besides all that Mamath is 8400 feet.Could be snow there in march For sure I don't want to incurr snow on the roads!!!

The black round housing that the 2 chrome tips slip thru .... they always crumble and won't stay in place while trying to attach the outer defuser!!! Did I explain that correctly to understand??

RE: Battery Question for Broad Knowledge ....

Dedicated to this site for 6 years I've read various battery Strategies. I'm getting ready to purchase (4) 6 volt house batteries. Asking because I don't know: what makes one batt better than another? There aren't that many parts!!! Is it the quality of lead or acid? The amount of lead? Can't be the terminals, case or access caps!!! Just asking so I can get smart!!!! Does anyone know what physical materials within the battery that makes one mfg's battery better than another??? :@

Above Sofa 12 Volt Lights Stopped Working !!! "FIXED"

It was a 10 fuse a mini with 2 prongs. There were 10 fuses in a line and I pulled 1 out at a time and wah-law ... blown.:) So the scenerio goes ...... One light wasn't working. Removed the old one and began to insert a new. Bulb lit up but as I puhed it in the 2 hole socket the other 2 shut off as well as the new one (there are 3 inline). I had left the power on (possibly my mistake ... but it's the way I always do it to verify bulb is working). Removed the new bulb inserted another .... still none of the 3 lit up. The switch button is in a cluster of 4 buttons ... 1 for ceiling, another for ceiling and a spare. The 2 ceiling lites come on when switched. The sofa switch indicator lite comes on .... all four of the cluster switch indicators come on. Removed the switch plate. The switches are attached to a circut board and stopped there. Any hints???
