RE: Self Adhesive Kitchen Tile Mod 2013

Thanks - I'm thrilled with the results. I mentioned before that we are going to do the bathroom next - our only dilemma is we can't decide which tiles to use :h

RE: What did you do to your Class C MH today???

Earlier in the week I finished putting Smart Tiles in the Kitchen... Easy to install and looks GREAT! https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/1171_10151460961461778_1180867973_n.jpg

RE: Self Adhesive Kitchen Tile Mod 2013

I just finished my Smart Tile install - Took about 4 hours to complete (I took my time) and was easy to do. I love it! The bathroom is next! https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/1171_10151460961461778_1180867973_n.jpg

RE: Switching out TV's

What I'm thinking about now, seeing how light these things are, is removing the old TV and mounting one of these light weight LED's to a door on the front of the existing cabinet. Somebody on here did a really good install job where there had a TV on a swinging arm and it opened to reveal storage in the existing cabinet. I'm thinking about just making a door for the cabinet hinged at the top and with hydraulic arms to hold it open. So basically the TV would just swing up with the door and you could access a storage area behind it. I'd just have to use some type of good latch to keep it closed. That sounds like about the easiest install. "Are you talking to me?" lol Here's what I did... One of our best mods ever!

Group Camping Suggestions in Southern California

I have a Cub Scout Troop that I need to take on an overnight tent camping trip and most of the Troop are beginners. Can anyone recommend or suggest a campground in Southern California. Preferably Group camping 20-40 with Hiking trails – open to lakes, beaches etc.

RE: Front Wheel Alignment in Lakewood, CA

Not a fan of any of the local Ford dealers. We have been taking our RV to Fleet Service Inc. in Anaheim.

RE: Darkening Windows In Winnie

When we first got our MH the DW made double layer curtains in the bedroom, the bedroom will stay dark if the curtains are left closed. This past summer we tinted all the windows for more privacy during the day, the problem with the dark tint is the MH stays darker during the day and were using the lights more. We got the static cling reusable window film ( peel and stick ) from Lowes.

RE: Flatscreen TV install example

very nice! Just a thought I've had as I see this and other retro-fitting flatscreens into cabinets. Has anyone considered mounting the tv to a beefed up door or use the tv as a cabinet door, in order to use the cabinet space behind it? That's what I did. Had an angled cabinet and needed the space. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-cRmWVT_9au0/Tydk_R4cl9I/AAAAAAAAALY/SHm2piJM6Iw/s800/IMAG1121.jpg width=350 https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-5F_epAHK0xo/TydlAMnXT1I/AAAAAAAAALo/VRU-d4xYfqY/s800/IMAG1126.jpg width=350 https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-q9c3GBikVxU/Tydk9AiO0wI/AAAAAAAAALQ/MiyAdUXnUMs/s800/IMAG1122.jpg width=350

RE: RV camping in Orange County California

I second Canyon RV - yes, it's close to the freeway, but LOTS of green grass, trees and flowing creek mask the noise. They do have hookups and are quite reasonable from what I remember. Lots of stores, shopping nearby and very easy access to the freeway which is actually nice. Can be hot during the summer but if you're considering Pomona, well, i'm sure it will be cooler than that :)

RE: Yosemite Entrance Route

We just got back on Sunday from a week in Yosemite. Ditto - the Tunnel View is so worth it! Have fun!
