The weather guy on WCBS in NYC just said in Mountain Lake Minnesota today it hit a high of 111 degrees ! I looked at the National Weather Service website for that area and it hit 90 by 10:52am and 99 by 12:33pm but the temp readings stopped after 12:52 when it was at 99 !

The Weather Channel shows a high of 98 at 12:45 so it also must have stopped since most high temps are recorded after 3pm this time of year.

In the old days they did not care about the natural environment and pollution was so bad that when I arrived in LA back in October 1965 my eyes were tearing from the pollution so I left the same day. Back then almost all of the diesel buses, trucks etc blew black smoke from their exhaust.

Will be interesting to see what stand Russia will take. He is a permanent alien resident, so I am assuming he still has some standing as a Russian citizen.
Why do we allow a permanent alien status? Seems that after about ten years of taking advantage of our country, you should become one of us or go back home.
He became a US citizen on September 11, 2012.

RE: 14-year-old becomes youngest player at the Masters
He beat his playing partner two time Masters Champion Ben Crenshaw by 10 strokes after the first two rounds and he is only one stroke behind Phil Mickelson. He shot a practice round of 69 at Augusta last weekend. For a 14 year old 8th grader that was not even born when Tiger won his first Masters that is amazing.
