Infrared of my camper
Had a Infrared job today. So while I had my camera out I took a shot of my NL camper.. Inside temp was 70F outside was 40F. I new it was a tight camper. A little heat lost around windows and back door.. did have some sun reflection. But wanted to share...

RE: Northern-Lite 10.2 questions
Woody, I own a 10.2 and the gas furnace will run you out of the camper. I use the electric when hook up to power it also keeps it nice and warm. The roof is the thickness of the rest of the camper. Should be good to go, I mounted a new TV antenna no issue. I was told that the 10.2 is already pre wire for solar, I have not look yet this a later project. Good luck ART

Just a little note the kids went camping with us this weekend.. we meet some people Saturday and that night we sat around the fire.. And the kids began talking about their trip .. they mention things I forgot about... They are like sponges.. We are planing a trip for next year... Maybe Va battle fields.. The Granddaughter wants to see Washington DC.......Good Day ART

We were out over the weekend.. had a storm come in on Sat night. Love to hear the rain hit the camper... wind plowing.. had a front come through.. High winds and all.. just cover up and went back to sleep... We have a NL and it is air tight... no whistling anywhere... I love being around the water during storms... Want to go up to MI maybe this winter to watch the heavy seas.....

RE: Winterizing without anti-freeze?
I did blow mine out last year... then I was thinking about the little places that water may still sit.. well I did use anti-freeze last year and still had a leak in the black tank wash down.. I use about 1 1/2 gallons for mine last year and I thought I over did it. but for got the black tank... good luck..

Mt Rally & Vac trip report...
Well this was our first vacation with the grand kids with the camper..It was great trip.. We started here in Indiana stop over in Chicago to visit our son and his lady.. Then off we went first stop Dells WI. We stayed at the Jellystone Park. Was not impress. Pool ice cold. Lacking staff to run the place only one pool open at a time.. For the money we were not impress.. But hay the kids had a great time..

After leaving Glacier we headed to Missoula MT. We stayed in the Jellystone right off I 90 (GREAT PARK).. Did not get good reviews on park reviews but it was a 10 for us..

KOA Mount Rushmore.. We stayed on the top of the hill.. Much more Quite On the weekend on the main ground by the pool was like a small city.. but up on top.. Nice with plenty of Pines.....

Had nothing to do with tire pressure or speed.. something came off the truck or something in the road hit the rim causing a section to come off. causing the tire to fail...

They did Rich... When we got home I was wondering what they retained. It was amazing when they saw the photos and was telling their parents and other Grandparents about the entire trip.. over 1000 photos.. they remember them all... I was blow away.... My wife and I sat back and let them talk about their trip... I was wondering if they had retain anything.. Alivia even had to tell her other grandfather that 350 lived from the little bighorn.. He thought everyone died... It was a amazing trip... Thanks to your wife and you allowing us to share our vacation with you guys........ ART

Well just made it home on Monday... had a great time had one mishap.. blew a tire in Iowa. I was passing a truck at 80mph... had a plow out... look at the rim.. Insurance people said I hit something or something hit us to cause the damage to the rim... Thank God it was a rear tire... had it been a fount one it could have been Really bad.. I emailed for info on this resort.
They are 50 and 30 amp sites. Which are directly on the river, it is $75.00 per night.
Trout fishing is one of our specialties. We do privately stock our waters to have premium trophy trout. If he would like to fish there is a $50 rod fee for all day of fishing or a $25 rod fee for 4 hours (half day of fishing) -this fee is simply for us to keep the fish stocked and maintained- we also ask to only use artificial bait and practice catch and release
Wow.. 75 buck a night, $50 a rod and catch and release.. I was wondering when they stock the stream how do they keep there fish in front of their camp grounds. How do they know which one are theirs.. I wish them all the best but here in Indiana you can walk ANY streams or boat on any river as long you don't touch the bank you are not trespassing. I think they are way over price but I wish them the best.

Hay you guys ought to take the ferry over to Dauphin Island.. There is a civil war fort over there.. There is hardly anyone ever there.. lots of summer homes but we stayed there a week and like had the beaches to ourselves...... have fun ART
