RE: extended warranties

I would not waste your money on an extended warranty, if you want the insurance put the money in the bank and dont touch it. Extended Warranties are normally a bad investment IMO.

RE: Slide out leaking

I Had a similar experience and thought it was the slide but I traced it back to a window that was leaking inside the wall. I used a piece of papertowel to check the baseboard area sliding it under the shoemolding. The window was about 3-4ft away from the slide and was soaking the carpet on the slide. So i pulled the window completly out re-sealed and re-installed and no more wet carpet. Leaks are sometimes like bad grounds in electrical issues, a pain to locate. Good luck with it

RE: Dog drags newborn from family home in Ky.

I love Animals and Have a Dog, that being said they are ANIMALS it is always possible for them to Bite, Kill, injure ANYONE. Never TRUST an animal especially around children. People ask me all the time "does you dog bite?", ALL DOGS WILL BITE if put into a certian situation NO MATTER THE BREED. I feel horrible for the Child and the parents. I hope others may learn from this unfortunate event.

RE: How to - have tt lights on at nite?

Very Easy, Simply get a 6ft piece of wire. attach the wire to your hot (positive) on your coach battery and the other end to your 7-Pin connector on your coach. Insert the wire in the corrrect spot that is your running lights. Look at the diagram on your plug cover on your tow vehicle if needed. Now you can turn your coach into a christmas tree and piss of your neighbors! Lol Good Luck!

RE: Wanting to replace a bunk with a jacknife sofa???

Very easy to do...If you have the skills. I have one as a bottom bunk (of course) in my fifth wheel. You should be able to order one or find one at a RV Surplus website. I probably would not go thru CC as they may be really expensive

RE: Smallest 5th with bunkhouse

Remember if you compare a 25 TT vs a 25 FW the FW is shorter due to the length in the bed of the truck. A TT is measured at your truck bumper (or Tounge) so in essence your shorter with the FW. Good Luck we made the jump 2 years ago and have never looked back once!

RE: best product to clean up awning?

I mix a solution of 50/50 bleach and water spray both sides of awning with a sprayer and roll it up. Let it set for about 15-20 minutes unroll and rinse with water. AMAZING results, no brushing no ladders no hard work!!
Good Luck!

RE: KOA St Louis

I stayed there 2 years ago its a decent KOA however its in an industrial part of town. I am disappointed with the lack of choice of parks in the SL area. Makes me want to go spend my money elsewhere.

RE: 03 DODGE RAM 2500 AC Freezing Up

Simple, it is low on Freon or the in line filter is clogged causing a reduction in the gas flow or the evaporator drain is plugged causing condensate to build up.. Either way, it must be fixed by a qualified AC service technician.
Thanks for the info But.....AC system and simple dont belong in the same sentence...Lol The Dodge Dealer I took it to could not find a solution, Looks like I may be looking for a more qualified technician

03 DODGE RAM 2500 AC Freezing Up

I have been having an issue with my AC in my Truck, If I turn the AC On after 15-30 Minutes the AC will freeze up and stop blowing cold air. If I turn off the compressor and run the Fan it will thaw out in about 3-5 minutes and it will work again but then will freeze up. It seems to not freeze up as frequently if I run the AC in the recirculate mode. The AC Freon levels were checked and no leaks were found. Anyone have similar issue with a recommendation or a solution?
Thanks!

RE: AFE Filter Maintenance

You need to buy a can of the spray oil you can buy K&N Brand or AFE brand at Autozone etc. Once you wash the filter let it air dry and spray the filter with oil just enough to cover it. Let it dry and reapply in the areas not covered. You can buy a kit with the spray cleaner and oil recharge kit for around $15 or so. Just follow the instructions on the box
Good Luck

RE: Leaking Windows

The Window is very easy to remove, I would suggest that you take the window out and recaulk the entire window using a GOOD Sealant such as Proflex RV Flexible Sealant. Fill the Screw holes with caulk before screwing them back in. Use mineral spirits or paint thinner to clean up excess caulk on the exterrior of the coach. Make sure you use enough caulk so that excess will squeeze out. Dip your finger in some paint thinner and smoothe the caulk out around the frame to ensure that you have no gaps around the window. Good Luck with it!
