RE: Painting roof What to use?

I have seen this on TV but was wondering if anyone has ever used it to seal the seems and things on top of the RV? https://www.toptvstuff.com/shop/promos/flexsealbrite/?tag=im%7Csm%7Cgo%7Ctp%7Ctm&gclid=CMPYwfKixbUCFQLhQgodK1sA6g

RE: Painting roof What to use?

I have also thought about doing something to my RV roof to avoid doing that yearly maintence and called Rhino Lining here in San Diego and for my 30 MH it would cost me approx. $4300.00. I though that was high but they said they have to take off the rubber roof first so I guess the labor is most of the cost.

RE: LA MESA RV is a MESSA

I was at the RV show this week-end here in San Diego but there were only two dealers their but they had a large selection. The one salesmen I talk with from La Mesa RV knew his product and was not pushy at all. He answered all my questions to my satisfactions and I even learned some new things. The Holland dealer was also their but they seemed to be more interested in staying under the canopy other than asking if I had any questions. I looked at several but not one salesmen approached me. La Mesa RV as I understand it has been in business for over 40 years so they must be doing something right. IMO!

RE: ON THE ROAD WITH THE GENERATOR ON?

New to RVing, how many hours can you put on a generator? We have 211 hrs on our but maintain it often. Just changed the oil and filter, fuel filter, air cleaner and spark plug last week. I normally go out at least every 2 weeks and start it and tun on the AC to put a loan on it for a while.

RE: Pricing

Have run into another snag. I went to renew my RSA and it is now quoting me a $112.95 to renew but when I received my renewal form in the mail it says, $99.95. I know it not that much money but why the difference? I think someone needs to update the website to provide the correct amounts and info. Just my 2 cents.

RE: A newbie's first trip - Sabre 36QBOK

Nice looking rig!! I know you will enjoy it and like others have said, it's better to take your time parking rather than try to do it fast and damage something.

RE: Parking

There is no need to drive it every month and even if motorized, the manufacturers say not to start the engine when in storage, just use a good fuel stabilizer and leave it alone until next time you plan to use it. Dry starts with all oil drained down are the worst thing that an owner does to an RV engine. Interesting, I have read somewhere just the opposite. As far as dry starting it, sooner or later you would have to start the engine.

RE: Ants

Like I have mentioned above, I don't want to get something that could harm pets.

RE: Ants

We stayed recently at a Corps of Engineers park that advised sprinkling Comet cleanser around the site to keep out sugar ants. Russ That's what they told us at the KOA park but wasn't sure if it was poison for pets.

Ants

Still new to RVing and this past week-end we were camping and there was a lot of antes getting into the coach. I saw that some people were putting some white power down but not sure what it was. I heard that comit will work but is it pet safe? Thanks
