RE: Flordia in January?

Read rvparkreviews.com to get a feel for the parks you are asking about. Red Cocoanut is very pricy.

RE: RV Trip Planning Software?

Still using S&T 2013 I figure roads haven't changed that much, use with Garmin and an updated paper map. Will check out RVparky.com

RE: Route 66 Travels?

We did it everywhere we could find it, some places it runs along the highway but is in too bad a shape to take big rig.

RE: SE Pa to Florida

With the flooding and it's aftermath I would stay away from 26, take 81S to Winchester 64 to 15, you will come out on 95 near Fredricksburg and miss the DC traffic, If 95 exits are still closed take 81 to 75 to 1-10 E to Jacksonville and down 95. Oh and it's easier to give directions if you give your town. SE PA covers a lot of ground. Good Luck

RE: What to do Columbus Day Weekend in Gettysburg PA

You are also not far from Antietam National Park at Sharpsburg, MD scene of the worst battle of the Civil War.

RE: What would you offer for this RV?

In June I paid 35,000 for a 2012 with 14,000 miles, in pristine condition, with 2014 tires. The one you are looking at did not show a TV , I would offer him less just because of the leak. Don't know what is under the roof. When I was looking in FL last winter, I didn't see any 16/17 year old rigs listed that high.

RE: How accurate is NADA for class c pricing?

Asking and selling is 2 different things, I sold my pusher for 10,000 less than NADA and bought this class C for 6,000 less than NADA

RE: Ford E350/E450 Door Window Privacy Pop-Open Thingies

The ones made for compact cars might fit, I use the old ones off the pusher for the dinette and bedroom windows, keeps a lot of heat out as we don't have dual pane on this MH. I had 2 of the small ones with the suction cups(use to block sun from baby)that I am using on the cab side windows along with the reg front pop out ones. Those along with the cab curtains really make a difference with heat.

RE: Hurricane Joaquin - BIG CHANGE IN PLANS

I'd sit tight, heavy rain on 81 can be miserable too. We had plans for Blackwater Falls W VA but aren't going.

RE: Coachmen Freelander

Sorry to hear of your problems, totally unacceptable for a new rig. Does Texas have a lemon law? Ask for a new coach NOT one with a rebuilt transmission.

RE: Very New to Snowbirding Florida Question Please

Check out parks in the Haines city area, Central Park is nice, West View Ridge is privately owned but many rent their lots out for around 400 plus electric. We get 30's a couple times a year mostly around 70. Clermont has several parks, Lake Magic(on192) and Citrus Valley(on 27) are nice but probably higher. they are not really in Clermont they are on 192 and 27 close to 192 Why don't you try Central Park in Haines City for a month or 3 and look around.

RE: Hershey Show next Week - anyone going or is it old hat -

We are going and spending the evening and possibly the night at the casino. Sure don't need anything, still have toys from the Adventurer and Journey.

RE: How many days at Yellowstone

We did 5 days and do in in segments so your days aren't so long. We went in the Eastern that time because there was a fire but have done the northern and it is easier. Remember to gear down and let the engine do the braking, get too fast apply brakes hard to slow then let them cool. You do not have a signature but if your brake fluid is old it may have water in it and need changed for safer mountain braking. When they tell you to clean your grill before you put it away. Do it. A bear tore a bin open while we were there. The biggest geyser usually goes off in the evening (not Old Faithful) I made the mistake of walking out alone and had to share the walkway with a coyote coming towards me, I didn't look him in the eye and prayed hard. I could have touched him as he passed. If you are with kids hang on to them the springs are hot. Park is beautiful and I am ready to go back again.

RE: Banned from Swinomish Casino and RV Park WA

I didn't see his review as complaining, just stating the facts. I have stayed at many casinos free and at many good casino parks , Bay St Louis Ms, is one. If I had to pay 10 to park I would just find a park offsite. The places that we have stayed free, Indian Casino near Miami, have cost us plenty, what with gambling and meals lol, many offer shuttles in to the casino and when I review I just state the facts. I am a senior adviser on trip adviser and have never had a problem when I gave a less than favorable review

RE: Buying advice (again)

If you have that frige cold and don't open the door, it will stay cold a long time. Many times we have driven 12 hours w/o the propane on and everything stays cold.

RE: Determining Tire Pressure

Many times when people complain of poor handling it's because they used max inflation instead of weighing their fully loaded rig.

RE: Help w lass c floor plan
