RE: Winter storage facility - up for auction

Absolutely,, get it out of there ASAP,,according to some state laws, a Foreclosure could well include "any and all property" at the site.. Go get it tomorrow.

RE: cooling fan for laptops ?

On my Dell Latitude E5500, running here on my table top ON it's docking station, I was concerned about heat as well. But for the life of me could not find the temperature readings. Finally I remembered a program I used to run on my ole IBM laptop. Even thought I am using a docking station which elevates the laptop some and allows air flow, I wanted to monitor the temps. Rediscovered this site and free program. Speed fan http://www.almico.com What it does: SpeedFan is a freeware program that monitors fan speeds and temperatures in computers with a known monitoring chip. Its main feature is that it can control the speed of the fans according to the temperatures inside your pc, thus reducing noise and power consumption. SpeedFan can also access S.M.A.R.T. data and temperatures from EIDE, SATA and SCSI hard disks.http://www.almico.com What it does: SpeedFan is a freeware program that monitors fan speeds and temperatures in computers with a known monitoring chip. RE: computer air card question?? (UPDATE)

Well, at least on MY laptop, I have a little button on the front of the case that turns OFF or ON my internal wi-fi.. Might look around. other wise I would guess in your control panel there would be a place for the built in wi-fi.

God grief,, hadn't thought of that in years. I still have here The original DOOM,, which is the same thing.. I drove to Dallas, ( the developers) and picked it up when it first came out. Can't use it now,, on 3 1/4 disk, I spent way too much time with it.

RE: Digital Picture Frames

simply way is just your your cd of pictures in the computer, plug up your frame with the USB cable and transfer all the pictures over. One thing I would suggest,, get a screen size larger than you think you need. The actual viewing area is NOT the the advertised size of the frame, you have about 2 inches of outer frame

RE: Swine Flu Vaccine?

Why are you asking the people here. Shouldn't you be asking your doctor? Absolutely ,, ask YOUR Doctor. These people on here are RVers NOT medical Doctors. mine said at my age, 65, I am a lot less risk than kids who have never had the flu. ( I had it bad when I was about 4)

RE: Garmin GPS Recommendation?

Good products,, BUT, once they release a new data base, it is going to cost you some big bucks to update,IF you try it that is. cheaper just to buy a new unit if you want updated maps.

Small town cop, speed trap warning.

Should you find yourself on Highway 67 in Southern part of Texas watch out for the local cops. Absolutely NO tolerance at all, and no heart. On my way back from Alpine Texas, I got stopped ( ok I was a little over the limit, but the car was coasting down to speed. I bet I wasn't 1/4 mile past the speed limit sign. Red lights came on and I swear this local cop had to weight over 300 pounds. Typical questions, and took my DL and Insurance card and returned from his car with a dang ticket for 10 over in a 60 mph zone. This is a small town, serious, no blinking light even , you know it is small in Texas when there is no Dairy Queen. out in the middle of absolutely no where. He didn't even take into account that I had a spotless driving record .. Town is Miles Texas,,so just watch it going through there
