I put 5 laundry baskets across the cab. Under the baskets I layed shelf liner. I've never had anything land on our heads yet. But I do roll the liner back up once we're parked-for ease of grabbing the baskets.

I would pick up catsup, mustard & some mayo packets when in a fast food joint. @ the grocery I would pick up soups, canned tuna, stews, canned beef, chicken dumplings, jerky, crackers (put n ziploc) peanut butter, pancake mix measured into sealed ziploc bag with amt of h20 to be added written on the outside, syrup (no frig, can be mixed w/pea butter for sandwich), spray cheese, instant coffee, tea bags, drop in's for water bottles, make trail mix, canned nuts, pudding cups, applesauce cups, fruit cups, bread, sardines, canned veggies, instant mashed potatoes, canned potatoes, the list is endless. With all these items, you could fix grilled potatoes with spray cheese topped with real bacon bits, mix cans together for soup, soup over mashed potatoes, there's mac & cheese in cups, just add hot h20,, like someone else said...just roam the stores--good luck & have fun!
I have 4 microwave plates & microwave cover I love. All bowls are microwaveable. I have reg silverware. But!! I have paper, too. Throw away plastic silverware, red solo cups I fill you up, lets have a party, (I couldn't resist!), styro cups for hot drinks. Many days we will get a solo cup & use it all day & maybe the next. I guess it's about 50/50.
We were 1st x snowbirders in our 24' class C, just this past winter. We spent 3 months in it. We did just fine! We have twin beds in the rear with a closet in between. Stool & sink on 1 side, shower on the other. We stayed @ a nice 55+ RV park. We used their brand new spacious showers. We spent a lot of time outside. We had our awning out most days, except for windy conditions, and we had a table & chairs out there. That made another room for us. We left our 2 outdoor chairs with friends & will get them back next year. We towed a Ranger truck.
I forgot to mention..no slides, has a dinette which we have our TV strapped on @ the window. The cab over bed, we took out the large cushion to open up the cab. I've got 5 laundry baskets across the width of the overhead plus having xtra space. I love the drop down table beside my kitchen sink. I figured our 1st x living in it as an experiment. I would find out what I should've packed & what I could do without!!
