RE: Good Cheap Ph Meter??

I bought a few of these last year for some experiments we did. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Digital-pH-Meter-Tester-Pocket-Pen-for-Aquarium-Pool-Water-Calibration-/251196415925?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a7c791fb5 We compared them with lab grade PH devices and as long as you kept them calibrated (very simple to do and not necessary to do it often) they were very close to the high end devices.

RE: Recommendation for a basic WYSIWYG HTML Editor

thanks for all your suggestions. i've downloaded, installed and briefly looked at DreamWeaver, Nano and SeaMoneky. Dreamweaver looks to be the best option from a user's perspective but there's no way i'll spend $400 to maintain a simple website. Nano will read my .html pages so that looks promising but further evaluation is needed. as for SeaMonkey...i can't find the HTML editor. thanks again to all. Another thought that you should consider is dumping the editors and just using a CMS like Wordpress. Millions of free or cheap templates...tons of online free help, simple to use and look professional as compared to anything 99% of us write using an editor. Check themeforest.net for some great themes/templates.

RE: Guess i don't understand it

marketing.....sheep get convinced they need it cuz someone else has it and they don't.While I understand the comment, you do understand that Apple is the largest company in the world having passed Exxon? And Samsung is pushing hard while Microsoft wonders why they weren't invited to the party? And Dell and HP are trying to explain their declining sales? Yep. I'm a 15 year Apple shareholder. Not sure what the rest of your post means, but thanks.

RE: V10 & high mileage

A lot depend on the load on the V-10. If hauling around in a heavily loaded F-550, it is pretty much done. If most of the mileage is toting around in an empty F-350, it is barely at the 2/3 point. I'd generally agree, but as with all things there are many examples of people using the V10 as a tow truck daily for several hundred thousand miles and getting good service. I suppose it's luck or something... :)

RE: V10 & high mileage

I bought my 05 with 101K on it and used it 4 years....sold it with ~140K and the new owner has put 30K on it and says it runs like new.

RE: Upstate NY to Foxboro MA...what route and why?

Yep...but he's a class 9. Still not bad at $25.60 Thanks again...he's stuck on rte 2, we'll see what happens. He's a 33 yr veteran tractor trailer driver and stubborn. $9.75 for a 3 axle vehicle with dual tires. You can check it out for yourself........ MASS PIKE Toll calculator Paul C You're looking at a huge PITA to avoid what cannot amount to more than $10 in tolls..... The MASS Pike is not at all expensive and is so much more RV friendly than trying to cross the Berkshires on back-roads. We're @ Normandy Farms till 8/5...... See you when you get in! ;-) $10 for a 40', 30,000 pound coach with 3 axles? hehe...you'll see us 7-27 later afternoon. White F350, 2013 Cougar and a brown/gold Prevost coach. Come say hello!

RE: BAL Lock Arm Stabilizers and Cougar fifth wheels

I sent mine back and will continue to use the tripod. It takes me a few minutes to set it up and keeps things very solid for us. I'll use the $$$ for fuel!

Upstate NY to Foxboro MA...what route and why?

We're traveling to Foxboro MA later this month with my parents to camp for a week. I'm in a 2011 F350 towing a 36' fiver and my parents have a Prevost 40' coach. Dad doesn't want to run toll roads due to the expense (ya, it's ironic, but he is who he is) so I'm trying to find a route that will contain few or no toll roads to get us from A to B. We're leaving NY around 8AM. Dad has suggested 88 to RT 2 across MA to 495 and down to Foxboro. Is this an RV friendly route? Do you suggest another route that might be shorter/faster or better for larger rigs? Thanks in advance!
