RE: ramifications of adding a spacer to dual wheels
I'd be sure to check with the vehicle or rear axle asembly maker to make sure that the w;heel bearings are not overloaded due to the additional moment arm of the verticle load.
12v Artec Digital TV Converter
Back in '08 when the analog/digital changeover took place i installed an Artec 12v converter in my rig. I thought I wanted to keep the capability of watching tv without shore power. I've never been happy with the results. I do not get decent reception at anything like the range I could before. I replaced my antenna with a new Winegard with the built in digital part. No change.
Has anyone had experience with this converter. Should I replace it with a 120v unit and forget the boondock capability?
Very frustrating.
