If being right on the beach is NOT important....WillowTree is THE spot. We were just there 2 weeks ago and the place is awesome. Only about 20 minutes from N Myrtle Beach.

You may want to give River Vista RV Resort in NE Georgia Mountains a look. They have activities going on all week. Plus, the campground is a great spot for day trips in to Western NC, NW South Carolina and all of Northern Georgia.

We've used a Vornado for 4 years. It works great. It would be worth checking out. It "circulates" the hot air so the entire space is heated equally and not just the area right in front of the heater.

Don't know what year yours is but we have a 2010 Alpine 3500RE and had the slide toppers added prior to delivery---that was 2 years ago and we have no such problem at all.

Sanlan Ranch is our favorite park in Lakeland. Lakeland RV Resort is closer to the Tigers stadium there but as I said we prefer Sanlan Ranch.

We have used MyRVMail.com in Crestview for the past 21 months with absolutely no problems or concerns. We have been completely satisfied and run all of our mail thru that address.

Be sure to consider Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park in Crystal River. Great state park type atmosphere with all the amenities in great area. Note rates INCLUDE electricity!

Vornado is well worth a few extra $$$. We've used one for 6 years. It does a great job of circulating the warm air around the room, not just heating right in front of the unit.

As you head north on 441, if you can't make it thru to Gatlinburg a good stay would be River Vista RV Resort in Dillard, GA. It is 1 mile south of NC line. The drive from there to Gatlinburg is a tad over 2 hours.

Sherling Lake was a great find for us last year on the way to Foley, AL. A little south of Montgomery and a little way off of the interstate but well worth it!
