RE: Changed Fuel Filter and Now Won't Start

Here is a trick that worked for me. Take a smal bike air compressor and put the end in to your fuel tank. Wrap a towels over the fuel tank and not allowing Anny air pressureto escape. That will push fuel to your fuel filter while cranking your engine. Worked for me.

Need Help Towing 2013 Ford Focus

After reading the Ford manual, it states to disconnect the negative black cable from the battery. Just wonder what others do after disconnect. Do you have to wrap the cable with electrical tape. I thought about looking for a battery disconnect switch. The old rocker type. Seems that all the auto stores no longer sell that type. Any other suggestions would be great. This is first time we towed the new car. It is automatic without the push button start system.

RE: New England Trip

If you decide to go East. There is an Air Force Base West of Boston, we stayed their. Great history aroud the area, Concord and the best thing you are right by rail transit(about 5 stops into Boston)not expensive less than $5.00 round trip. We then drove our car all around the area. Can even check out Maine. We drove all the way up to Camden ME. About two hours along the coast. Can also go South towards N.Y.City. Had great time in area. Great Park, Thank good for FAMCAMPS.

RE: Is Inverter Bad??

If you need to replace, I would never buy a Zantrex again. Had a new one put in and the board needed replaced after 8 months. Of course it was my fault by them. Would not cover warranty.

Comming To Your Wallet Soon

Yes coming to your wallet soon. The check out fee. All purchases made with a credit card will now be charged a fee. I believe only 10 States were listed that have not approved this. Just another screw. I wonder if Flying J and Pilot will add additional fees after you are already paying a fee?

RE: Zantrex or Magnum Inverter??

Stay away from Zantrex. Just replaced my 458and and it lasted less than 8an months. They will not honor warranty. Also was told to take the inverter to their warranty Center in Houston. Their service centers are out of garages. Never will buy anything from them again.

Question On Main Batteries

Have a question on main batterie series. First have a 2003 DP Fleetwood. Have the shore power plug in which run through the 2500 inverter. When taking a reading the main batteries are only 11.46 volts. Shouldn't they be reading 13.4? Been plug into shore powder now for 3 days. The inverter shows that it is charging in the charging mode. After I start the engine the main batteries reading jumps up to 12.4 Any Ideas. The main batteries are 36 months old. Have two of them. I replaced 4 6 volt deep cells less then 6 months ago. The Aux battiers also only read 11.6.

2012 Ford Fussion

Recently purchased a 2012 Ford Fussion and made sure that it was towable 4 down. Just speaking with friend, he stated that FMCA has put out an article that states they are not towable 4 down. In the manual it states that it is. FMCA states that Ford will retract its manual and send out a statement, that it can not be towed 4 down. The car only has 250 miles on it. Has anyone else heard anything on this? Has any one delt with Ford at a higher level than the sales manager of the Ford Dealer. If any one has a point of contact for Ford other than dealers I would appreciate the contact.

RE: No heat and no air conditioning

Try taking the Thermostat cover off and look and clean the contacts. I had similar problem and just removed the fuse and put it back in and it all worked. Some time dust gets in there.
