RE: Ride Height Vavles

Thanks all for the respopnses. All of my valves are pot metal / aluminum and not plastic and I have the two in the rear and one in the front. I have changed the valves out before but never had this kind of a problem. Never thought of the WD-40 but will give it a try this weekend and let you know if it works.

Ride Height Vavles

The valve on the rear drivers side of my '99 Allure is acting up. If I dump the air to level it when we park and then when I restart the engine and set it to travel mode the valve leaks air out of the exhaust port at a very high rate. If I crawl under and put my finger on the port and hold back the air for about 10 seconds the valve makes a clunk and the air stops. After that all is normal as in leveling when going down the road. Any ideas out there? Thanks.

RE: Source for Replacement Curtains

We had the same problem, curtins getting old and thread bare. My wife found some material we both liked added some black out material for the back and took the old curtins and the new material to a local curtian maker and job done. The new ones are much better then the old ones and the black out material really makes it neat in the early morning. The cost was very reasonable compared to CW.....

RE: Back Up Monitor up-grade

Well it is finally completed.....Received the new monitor from RVCAMS and they did a follow-up when they saw my post on RV.net. I talked with Tim Lazaore and between the two of us we figured out the wiring. I changed the wiring at the plug in the rear of the coach to match up with the camera and now I have my eyes back. Again thanks to all for the input. If any of you have the Intec camera CVC 112 or the monitor CVM 550 send me a PM and I'll go over the changes with you. They are very simple once you have the schematics.

RE: Back Up Monitor up-grade

Thanks Sully...I called them also and being the cheap s**t I am I figured I could make a new one work. the Voyger cost me $300 so I have a little room to try to get it figured out. I don't know why I always get the problem issues....Be safe out there...

Back Up Monitor up-grade

I am in the process of replacing my old Intec monitor with a new Voyager monitor. RVCAMS sent a new patch cord along with the monitor but the cord doesn't match up with the pins on the old one. I called RVCAMS and they looked into it but said this cord has always worked in the past. Question to the forum is have any of you had this issue and if so how did you resolve it? The camera is good just the monitor went bad. I may have to rewire the cable that runs between the front and the back of the coach if there isn't a simpler solution out there. Thanks,
