RE: Xpress redi set go cooker

I have one and love it for omelettes, little burritos (sweet and savory) toasted sandwiches, also. The cookbook thing is a pain, I agree. The non-stick coating is still a problem, too. I will pack this in the RV next Spring, though.

RE: Kennel Cough and our Cocker

Don't mean to highjack this thread, but my questions are about kennel cough. My 5 year old Rat Terrier female just came down with a cough (7/30). Took her to our Vet the next day where she was examined, ex-rayed and put on Baytril and cough tabs. He said her heart and lungs looked good; no objects appeared to be ingested; he felt it might be viral. Honeybun has not been kenneled or to the groomer. She hadn't even been to the park the week before due to the crazy weather we had been having. She has only one more day of the antibiotic, but is still coughing periodically (mostly when she is excited or at night when she is sleeping???) She has only been exposed to one other dog a few days before the cough began that had been to the groomers. Is kennel cough that contagious? Could she have gotten it from a cat that comes over the fence? Which vacination is for kennel cough?

RE: Looking for a Pomerat

Can you get a picture of your friend's dog? I have a Rat Terrier (love of my life) and my friend has a Pom. I cannot imagine what a cross would look like. Perhaps if we had an idea, those of us who frequent shelters could keep an eye open. Just a thought.

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Gosh, Richard, if you make it to Northern California it is only a hop, skip and a jump to Oregon. I'd love to see you, Sue and the gang. Pixie

Doctors Foster and Smith have this outdoor kitty pen. Don't know if it would corral Chi's or not, but definitely would be easy to pack.

RE: Having to put your pet to sleep on the road

I had my beloved kitties cremated at two different human funeral homes. Maybe a little more expensive (one was over $100 the other was $60). The ashes of Ming were put with my husband's ashed when he passed. The other kitty is still on the bedroom shelf and will be put in her final resting place when I am up to it.

RE: Brains and eggs

My dad use to make brains and eggs when I was young, but fresh. Didn't realize they had them in cans or is someone pulling my leg?

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Honeybun, my little Rat Terrier rescue, didn't bark for 6 months. I, too, took her to see if some one had had her surgically altered. Nope. She still doesn't bark at strangers; the doorbell, or anything like that. The only time she barks is at me! If I don't understand what she wants she will "woof" one time. Funny little girl!
