RE: mpg on 454 engine

I have the option to fill with 95 octane and 98 octane. Any differences between these two options in HP or MPG on this 4 barrel carb? thanks all

RE: mpg on 454 engine

no i am not really concerned about the expense on gas, just to know. I own a 5.3 v8 and a jeep 4.0 both with upgrades on engines. here we pay twice the price gas you pay wherever you stay in USA. I have had only a diesel in my life......for 6 months. i sold it because thats not for me.perhaps could be around 5-10 gas moto4rhomes in spain in class c because NOBODY wants a gas motorhome here. In fact a common Chevy Tahoe with 5.3 v8 thats is normal in USA nobody wants here, perhaps there is no more than 100 cars like this. don“t worry I know what i am gonna buy, just gettin information. I am gonna pay more than twice the price for the MH in taxes and shipping (taxes are 21%+ 3,7%+ 12% in case if is a new one) so .....the last thing i am worry about is how to feed the engine. thanks for all the info, 9-12 mph is what i was expecting for

RE: 21 footer dry weight

its a law issue. The old "newest" MH I can buy must be 25 years old. This is an issue also for Europe. You can not get a license plate and/or homologation for a 1989-2007 Motorhome. Its the law, pollution issues I dont agree but....

RE: 21 footer dry weight

the reason to know it is easy. Here the max weight to drive a vehicle with a no comercial driving license is 3500 kg. Up this you need a driving license for a truck. I can not weight a mh that is 5000 miles from here. Just to know if somebody has a similar one.
