I just stocked up at Bath and Body Works. They were running their buy three, get three free. Sweet deal and in your price range. Most women like nice body products. Sugary treats not soo much.

RE: jcapps 5000 and counting

Gosh, I have had to use a tow truck a few times and never even thought of giving that person a tip. Isn't he getting paid for a job? Unless he is getting paid less then min. wage then he doesn't fall into that category, does he? Ask him if he reports his tips to the govt. as wages earned. That should be interesting! ps: he would still be standing there waiting if it was me.... :BMy words made the shop owner BLUSH!!!!! Tip the two truck? That's crazy. The last time we had a tow home the driver freaked me out so much I had my big 6'4" son go out and stand with his dad.

RE: Replaced carpet with laminate in bedroom dogs unhappy UPDATE

We have two English Cockers and a house full of hardwood floor. The young one has no problems. The old one it's very hard on him. We've had to place lots of non-skid area rugs around for him to use, wherever he needs a little traction. In our fifth wheel we took this into account when we remodeled. We replace carpet in the slideout, and bedroom, and steps with new carpet. In the rest of the camper it's vinyl, with non-skid throw rugs. Slick floors are rough on old dogs and small dogs.

RE: Just picked up our 'New' Horizons Fifth Wheel

Truly a masterpiece. And the only RV I've ever seen that I could truly live in. Thanks for sharing... By the way I have the red bear bowls, plates, mugs...the works. Never considered using them in our fifth wheel. Hmmm may have to reconsider.

RE: Breaking news w/ video: trying to rescue child from aircraft

People sure are quick to judge before all the facts are in. They may be bad parents, or they may be good. Fact is none of you know the whole story on this event, or these parents. Media will play it one way or the other just to feed the beast. It's all about ratings. Oh and reality shows are edited in case you didn't know.

RE: What is the most useful cooking implement in the RV?

We've never camped where we have hookups. So I would have to say it's a tie between my little Weber BBQ (briquets) and my propane stove. I also carry a Camp Chef Weekender stove for complete outdoor cooking.

RE: Was the Fort Collins balloon situation a "stunt"?

I think this incident could coincidentaly be true. Something going haywire that they did not account for while filming. Then they panic. Even if the family is a publicity seeking, reality show shopping family. I'm not ready to call in CPS yet...

RE: rv mat sale

Oldguy thanks for the tip! My mat is starting to get a little aged. Time to replace. Mats are great for the dogs to hang out on. Especially the my old pup.

RE: What is your limit for a pop-up

We had a very nice Flagstaff popup for four years. It was fun and we have great memories. However the thing that really got to me over time was inadequite refridgerator space. It became tiresome haveing to drag ice chests in and out of the bear boxes. Packing and set-up was not all that enjoyable either. We now have a smallish arctic fox fifth wheel and we really enjoy how easier it is to get on the road. No more digging through duffle bags and plastic bins for the things you need. I can choose to prepare a meal inside if the weather is less than ideal. And minimal unloading when we get home. Basically our clothes and linens that need laundering and the leftover food.

Check out the Kokanee Salmon. It's spawning time on Taylor Creek. Sorry about the poor picture quality. You can only do so much when it's snowing. http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e342/cek0515/DSC_2332.jpg
