RE: Transmission oil cooler

While I have a different transmission this transmission cooler may work. I used the factory connections that were in OEM cooler to connect the hard lines with no issues. Earls Trans Cooler install from Diesel Place Forum

RE: Truck Tire Pressure with Stabilizer Bars?

So, why the difference from the front to the back? The rear tires are still carrying most of the weight. As I understand it the lower pressure on he front tires provide more of a tire foot print to assist with grip. Have a great trip. Its a long tow through Nevada, the scenery picks up once you hit Idaho.

RE: Truck Tire Pressure with Stabilizer Bars?

Ellie, I run my Toyo load range E tires at 80 lbs rear and 70 lbs front. Les Schawb initially advised 65 lbs upfront when towing however it was a little too soft. If your tires state Max Load @ 80 lbs I would agree that's were the rear need to be at.

RE: going to yellowstone area and only have four days.help!

Grizzly RV Video Grizzly is a good choice, it's just outside the west entrance. My sighting seeing preference is to break the park into quadrants and travel to a different section each day. Anytime spent in the park is a good time

RE: Yosemite via CA 41 w/29ft. travel trailer??

1. No issues with driving 41 out Fresno 2. You will be able to maneuver through all campgrounds without to much trouble. 3. Depending on the site you chose you may be challenged to back-into the site. What is your site number? 3. Weather - Unless you are looking at many days of rain or a storm with snow the day you are scheduled to leave (adjust your schedule) this is a great time of the year. The people count is low and spring showers add to the experience. Have a great time!!!

RE: Yosemite.... Makes me sick!!

Like others it has been since 2009 that I have been able to reserve a campsite in the valley Between June and August. Prior to that I had no issues. Seems there has been an increase in camping period with the economic downturn and $20 per night will trump $50 to $60 always especially at this location. My reservation complaint is that Recreation.gov should have a process similar to Ticketmaster where it requires a "real person" to enter a scrambled code. Doing so prohibits the use of electronic means of gaming reservations. Some of you may remember a story from 2012 where almost all of the Upper Pines Campgrounds for the 1st week of June was reserved by 1 person who was caught trying to resale sites online. In addition I would suspect that Travels Agents also have an electronic method of obtaining sites. For those who visit Yosemite regularly I find it hard to believe that overseas visitors have were able to reserve the number of sites that they have. As an example last April the site next to me changed hands every day or 2 for the seven nights we were there all from eastern Europe. This is a common practice. I have nothing against overseas visitors just curious as to how they make it work. With that said I always have plan B and C.

RE: Wanted: view - Grand Teton RV Moran??

In 2010 we pulled in and right back out. As indicated Coulter Bay is a good choice.

RE: Yosemite Reservations

December 15th should be the start of the reservations madness with openings May 15th through June 15th. April is a great month to visit, sun, rain, SNOW and lots of water.

RE: Pismo Coast Village-Pismo Beach, CA

Imsteck, This is a very nice place. Here is another site picture, it is close however the location makes up for it. Our kids always have a great time. The beach is a short walk over the sand dunes very near where we are parked. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f322/CGManley/Pismo2006-105.jpg

RE: Bike Rack on Travel Trailer

Locating the rack on the tongue of the trailer was one of the best moves I made. Carries the bikes and holds the dish. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f322/CGManley/100_0924-1.jpg

RE: Sequoia -Kings Canyon

Dorst Creek is very nice with many sites in the 1st 2 loops Sites 1-61. The sites are on a hill however they have plenty of freshly paved flat sites. At 1st we weren't that excited about camping on a hill until we realized that we had an expanded view. Gas is 15 minutes North of Dorst and food at Lodge Pole is 18 minutes south. Its a good location. We spent most of our time in the Giant Forest Area with one day trip north to Grants Grove. I held out for years before going this past June, it is spectacular. The area of the park with access is smaller than others however there is a lot packed in. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f322/CGManley/IMG_5804.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f322/CGManley/IMG_5735.jpg
