2013 Eighth Annual NW Fall Colors Caravan
Here is the plan for our EIGHTH annual trip over the Washington State's North Cascades Pass (SR-20) to see the beautiful changing fall colors. We're doing a three night caravan. October 11th, 12th and 13th. Last year we had 30+ campers in the caravan. This year where staying TWO nights at Silverline Resort. If anyone wishes to caravan along they are welcome.
Here is what and where.
Leave Haggen's in Arlington, Friday October 11th 5PM SHARP
Arrive Sauk Campground (halfway down the page) in about 1 hours.
Leave Saturday morning and travel SR-20.
Stopping at a couple of great view points along the way to enjoy the view and take pictures. As always were still planning some free time to explore Winthrop.
Arrive Winthrop, Silverline Resort On Pearrygin Lake in Winthrop. Reservation have been made Saturday night Potluck with prize drawing following. Then the huge campfire. And stay 2nd night at Silverline to relax.
Monday morning everyone is on there own to leave and go any direction the wish to, because we have Truck Campers right!
