RE: Used Winterized Pink Liquid
I also just run it down the drains, and send it out along with the grey and black water. It takes only about 1 1/2 gallons to winterize my TT.
However, I have a friend, that grew up with an RV in the family. His dad would winterize, without bypassing the water heater, and they would save the antifreeze for the next year. But they needed 8-10 gallons to winterize!
RE: Wheel lug bolts
Are the drums set up like a cars? Do they have the thumb wheel you need to back off in order to pull drum? I also have EZ lube axles, does the housing just screw off?
Yes they are similar to cars, in that they will have the "thumb wheel" adjuster (accessable from the back, behind the rubber plug), but unlike cars, they do not have the automatic adjusting feature (mechanism) that also moves the adjuster.
Here is a picture. that shows the "thumb wheel" adjuster below the magnetic coil (actuator).
RE: How comfortable would you be........
I would check the CCC (Cargo Carrying Capacity) first. I have seen new (floorplan) TT's with less than 500 pounds CCC. Two years ago at a RV show I went through a new Starcraft Silver sided TT with less than 300 pounds CCC!
