....All I'm saying is that as the years go by, new information surfaces and new and different scientific theories prevail.
In 20-30 years, who knows what new info may surface and what new scientific theories about issues as diverse as Dinosaurs or global warming (to name just two) will surface and be generally accepted as the new 'fact'....I think you are right on the money with those statements.

Well, the head of FedEx stated he could deliver letter mail throughout the US for .10 cents per piece, have it all delivered overnight and still make a profit. So why can't the government?I am not disputing what the head of FedEx said, but when and where did he say that? Is there a link to some news story about it that you can provide? I would love to read it if it's available.

Just as a homeowner, not as a small business owner, would you be upset if the USPS decided to eliminate Saturday mail delivery?
Yes, I know the USPS has "problems", but never-the-less, I can say that personally, we would not.
Monday thru Friday is enough junk mail for us!:W

....My brother's GF feeds our dogs junk food, on purpose, every time they visit. :MThere are members of my family who think it's just plain cruel to not give family dogs people food, snack food, etc. My FIL, God rest his soul, was one of them. Whenever they were in town, he would give our previous dog, Missy, little "treats" on the sly. :B
Our present pooch, Gretchen, is not so food oriented and really does not want or beg for people food. How about that, Susan!!!:B:W

Had Gretchen gotten into all the stuff Tootsie had, she would be puking her guts out. :E This would most likely occur at approximately 2:00am in the morning, and I would probably break one of my toes in my rush to get her outside before the torrent spews forth.:E:E:W
