I am thankful to God for the many blessings I've received, the greatest being His Son, and for my wonderful family.

RE: Camp and school don't mix

Schools are SUPPSOSED to teach young people how think and have proper deducting skills. Obviously public schools are unable to teach creative thinking skills. If I continue I'll get deleted so.......

RE: preventing condensation

a dehumidifier is just an air conditioner. if opening a vent is counter productive, I'd think running an air conditioner and heat at the same time would be more counter productive. JMHO.

RE: Rodents ~ Bounce Sheets

Well, we found the mice using our dryer sheets (bounce) as bedding and using our Irish Spring as food (or something). We went to glue traps and Fresh Cab. If dryer sheets are working for you, Great!!! But I'd have a second-- glue traps.

RE: Camp and school don't mix

aeohio, it is an eating utensil! I had one when i was in grade school! The 6 year old didn't take it to play with it, he wanted to eat lunch with it. The school needs to use their over-educated minds to come to reasonable solutions. BUT they throw ALL students in the same irresponsible bowl and punish the good student and the gang member!!

RE: Camp and school don't mix

At Omaha Public Schools an elementary school girl was expelled for bringing a plastic butter knife to school to cut her food. I believe it was in Oregon that an elementary school boy was expelled for drawing a picture of a gun (a stick man with a stick gun). Lunacy! And Then there's the the New Jersey school that has 2d graders singing praises to Obama using well known Christian and Patriotic melodies.

RE: What do you think of Progressive Insurance

My trailer was hit by a Progressive insured car on 4th of July a few years ago and they denied the claim because the daughter was 15 and driving w/o permission.

RE: GMAC Insurance Renewal WOW

I don't think AAA is in California, but must tell.... they replaced my bunk canvas due to rodents, no argument, no threats. They paid and no surcharge. BTW, Progressive has a problem with paying claims without threats.

RE: tear-aid

Those holes may be a bit big for my idea, however...... Walmart sells bike tire patches that are thin, clear and self adhesive. When I had small rodent holes I was able to repair them using the patches. They worked well, they were still holding when I finally got the bunk ends replaced. Hope this helps. Dan... P.S. I love Idaho..

RE: Locking up valuables while camping

Well, the folks defending law enforcement obviously haven't met Omaha, NE cops. Any way. Camping for years and never a problem with thieves. Only when parking at home when living in Omaha.
