RE: Brand of CB you use and why

Cobra 29 Wx Nw St - Favourite Sending out a Wilson 5000 Work truck has a new cobra 29lx. I like the scan feature a lot. Works great with a Wilson 1000. Tried three handheld before I gave up no range. Check out the cobra 75wxst. The entire radio is on the mic, smaller than a handheld on the dash and you can stash the rest of the radio.

RE: Silverado 1500 Hd 2003 - Trailer Connector

I have an 01 1500 hd and formerly a P2, not exactly the same but close. Just plug it in and you are ready to go.

RE: Best grill for RVing?

Another vote for weber 220. Like the little extra height for taller items.

RE: Honda eu2000i

All three of ours are very smooth. Might want to run it for your dealer, if they think it's fine at least it will document you had an issue.

RE: if the house is rockin.......

Does this system not place a torsional load on the side of a beam not intended to support weight in that direction? We use load binders all the time on the farm and they have the capability to generate a tremendous amount of force. Obviously a cautious user could remedy this.. I also wonder what loading would occur as your trailer settles when not on concrete. Guess the search for stability requires compromise.

RE: Canadian vs US Pricing

The Canadian tire check is a safety check of sorts. Nothing to do with a CSA cert. http://www.csa-international.org/product_areas/trans_carrier_safety_management/Default.asp?language=English

RE: Canadian vs US Pricing

My insurance company ( Ontario ) required a CSA certificate or proof of certification. I am sure I could have found a company that didn't but mine is great and I wouldn't move. I did not find this out until I called to get the insurance put on. This phone call might save you money or moving insurance. Good luck with the new trailer.
