RE: Tire pressure

Hey, thanks for all the responses....I think I got it!
From the sound of it, this is a common question.....before posting, I tried searching for other threads that covered this topic but wasn't able to come up with much....need to work on my searching technique!

Tire pressure

The tires on my 5'er are load rating "G" with a maximum tire pressure of 110 PSI.....tires on the truck are load rating "E" with a max psi of 80.
I've been getting conflicting advice about the pressure to keep these tires when they're cold, prior to getting on the road.
Some say to mantain them at the maximum PSI, which is what I've been doing.....others say to keep them 10-15 psi less so they don't exceed the maximum when they heat up.
.....are there any tire experts out there who know the correct way to maintain tire pressure?

Road grim on tire sidewalls

The sidewalls on the tires of my 5er have turned brown and the only thing I found to get them back to black is some kind of pink stuff (wish I knew it's name), that I got from a detailing shop that no longer has it or remembers what it was!
When I spray that pink stuff on the tire I could see the brown******melt away.....it would run down the sidewall....a bit of scrubbing with a brush and it was like new!
That was then and now that I'm out of the pink stuff nothing else seems to be strong enough to remove it.
Anybody find a product that works?
Appreciate your feedback.
