RE: Hot water problems

Are you leaving the shower run the whole time? Wet down, shut off valve, soap up rinse off. Hot water lasts all the time.

RE: Synthetic Oil

I am changing to synthetic next oil change. Picked up some Mobil1 synthetic from Walmart it is a couple bucks more than rotella. It says it is designed for turbo diesel pickups, if it said designed for farm tractors I probably would have grabbed the rotella. Fleetgard filter and good to go. I have only done one oil change on this truck I just got it in Sept.

RE: BACK DOWN TO EARTH - NEED TRAILER SUGGESTIONS 23-25' W/SLIDE

We started like that. I had that size in my mind wife had bigger in hers. We ended up with the trailer in our sig (she won) and towed it with our 05 F150 and found that it was just a little too much trailer for the truck and went with a Ram 3500. Chose wisely grasshopper!!

RE: 24"Barker jack measurements

I have the 24" Barker. It measures 24" from the trailer tongue up to the bottom of the motor housing, 29" to the top of the motor housing. From the tube to the back of the motor housing, it measures 1". I think these are the measurements you were requesting? If not, let me know and I can measure again, hope this helps. You can of course mount it sideways as suggested above. I love the 24" and am really glad I went with it over the 18". There are a few tricky spots, my driveway for one, that use every bit of the 24" stroke to get the Equalizer bars off. That is exactly what I am looking for thanks. I will go measure up my trailer now to see if it will fit.

24"Barker jack measurements

I am looking at a jack for my trailer. My propane tanks are very close to my jack and have had a fulton jack on before that I had to mount sideways to fit. Can somebody measure their 24"barker jack from trailer frame to the bottom of the head and from the back of the jack to the back of the head so I can see if it will fit on my trailer. I can't move my tanks back as my hitch pull up brackets are right there. Or if somebody knows of a jack that has very little rear overhang to mount close. I am looking at an Atwood and Husky too.

Curt brake controller

I just got a new to me tow vehicle, 2008 cummins 3500. I had a Curt Reflex brake controller in my f150, which I took out. The truck I just bought has a Primus IQ controller in it. Is this a good controller? Should I put in my Curt or sell both and get a P3? The curt worked well for us and I am thinking of just installing it. the Reflex is Curt's top unit.

RE: Reese Dual Cam

Round bars are "L" shaped and trunnion bars have a head like a hammer. The bars should also have a notch at the chain end to add the dual-cam.

RE: Changing out accordian door

That is where the track runs next to a wall so the open door just covers a blank wall and gives you a full width opening? Exactly what I am thinking!!

RE: Changing out accordian door

we were just thinking of installing it on the bedroom side of the wall. I think the pocket door would take up too much floor space.I am guessing it would be the better part of 6"

Changing out accordian door

Has anybody changed out their bedroom accordian door to a solid sliding door? is it as easy as just screwing the track to the ceiling? we want to make this upgrade to our trailer.
