RE: retractable awning not closing all the way
Yes the awning can slip on the main roller tube and will slide back into postion with a little help. the awning track has a keeper screw in it and so doesn't slip. like the roller tube
RE: I need mattress help!
ONe problem with the air bed is the change in altitude works like a baloon as the go higher the mattress expands so you need to let the air out before you travel . all in all the foam is the least trouble and works great. I have had both.
RE: Xantrex Prosine 1800w Inverter
Most converters are simple looking boxes with an AC (120 volt ) plug and two DC conections plus and minus and a chassis ground and can be located anywhere.
RE: Xantrex Prosine 1800w Inverter
Where are the manuals for the RV.? It would be pretty strange to have arig without as that is what runs the 12 volt system When you are on AC power.

RE: Satallite Dishes-TV and Internet - WHEN?
Aircards work well in high density population areas but in some of the northwest areas service is spotty. While hughes is a problem sometimes at least it does work in all areas.
RE: Bay Heaters - if yours aren't heated and they need to be
When I built my setup I designed the plumbing to be all in one bay and above it. I did like above and put a freeze sensor switch in to turn on a heat lamp. It has worked fine for me for two years even when traveling through freezing ( low teens) weather.

RE: What's the deal on BLM land at Quartzit AZ

RE: Brain is fried!!! Help
I know that solar is great and you have to decide what you are using and how much power it draws while the batteries are used and then when daylite the solar is charging all the time so it will bring the batteries back up. I know that my batteries will last overnight and by 11AM the solar has gone to float charge. I run a standar household fridge that is drawing power intermittently plus the microwave and Satellite and internet system as well as the lights. I only have 510 watts of solar and it seems to keep upo ok .
RE: Any Pilots (airplane owners) on the boards?
Yes I enjoyed flying when I was younger but can't afford it now. I had several planes but all are gone now. My first was a 1947 Navion 225hp that I had for several years when I worked at United in SFO. I then owned a Cessna Custlass and joined it with a 68 Beech Baron. I then added a Cesna 150 to the fleet. All were fun planes. The longest journey was from Oregon to Texas accross the Guylf to Miami then to the Bahamas and on to the Turks and Cacos Islands.
