RE: I love TC camping

I miss my TC very much....I wanted more options and space so I purchased a 32' TT and got exactly what I wanted...and some of what I didnt want. I used my TC sooo much more because I could easily take places my TT can not go.

RE: Airbed sofa

We are not fans of our air bed sofa as it doesn't matter what we do we are always fixing leeks in the air bed. likewise...after less than a year my airbed was driving my nuts with leaks so it has been replaced.

RE: Toyota Tundra towing 8500 lb travel trailer

I agree you will probably be over your rating but I can also say you will probably not notice it lol...I am not condoning towing over your rating.I have an 07 4x4 5.7 and I tow a 32' TT weighing in at 8k+ (loaded) and have not had a single issue in many 2k+ mile trips. I tow at 60-65 mph and average 8mpg. Safe driving is key with a 4k trailer or a 8k trailer. You have to be your own conscience and weigh your own liability for your situation.

RE: Rubbing elbow's with Mickey Mouse

I didn't know they let you take them in the. Park What do you do with them while on the rides/in line? Thanks,Mike Yes Disney does allow coolers that comply with the size guidelines (they just dont publicize it as it means a loss of revenue lol). If we are all going on a ride the cooler is simply left in the baby stroller area. We have yet to have any issues and not a single item has ever been disturbed.

RE: Rubbing elbow's with Mickey Mouse

What is the cooler for ? Do you take lunch inside the park or drinks? Thanks,Mike The cooler is for drinks and snacks and makes our trips far more enjoyable and saves me a ton of money.

RE: Rubbing elbow's with Mickey Mouse

enjoy your trip but here is my money saving family tip...you will enjoy the parks far more if you plan ahead and take a properly sized wheeled cooler...24"L x 15"W x 18"H.

RE: Looking for comments on Outback owners

I have a 2012 Outback 260FL that I purchased in Oct of 2011 and have nothing but praise for it. So far in total I have spent about 90 nights in it and should get at least another 30 nights this year. Just cant give it enough praise :)

RE: Winterizing Rig In Florida

I have 2 TT in N. Florida just below the GA line and I have never winterized either. The trailers have spent winters there for the past 6 years and have not had an issue. Yes the temp will get below freezing but it simply does not stay cold enough for long enough.

RE: steering and general feel of 2008 GMC 2500 and 2008 Tundra

I do enjoy reading the posts from people listing internet references to tundra flaws lol. I always wonder if they have actually towed a load with a tundra...the answer is usually NO. If you experience white knuckle towing while driving a Tundra then you will likely have the same experience no matter what truck you drive. While the tundra can be said to have shortcomings the same can be said for every other vehicle and internet searches can easily show such. I have owned every Ford up to the F350 as well as several Chevy trucks but with that said I now own a 2007 Tundra 5.7 4x4. With over 125k hard miles I can say when the day comes to replace my truck...it will be another Tundra. My current TT weighs in right at 8k and I have never had an issue towing. While I would never recommend towing outside the ratings I will say the Tundra will provide excellent performance inside its rated abilities. If both trucks can properly handle the tow then choose the one that is more enjoyable to drive when not towing as that will be the larger portion of your driving.

RE: 26ft to 28ft trailer that looks like attached?

Your length limitaion is the issue here. I have an Outback 260FL which Iove but it is (overall) longer than you want. Good luck

RE: Millenicom for WI-FI on the road

RE: any on-site, FHU positions in MA??

not knowing all the details to your situation...maybe an unpaid position would be of interest ..you can check volunteer.gov and maybe one of their positions would be of interest.

RE: Kitchen Sink Drains

I love this place!!! My 2012 TT has this same problem and it drives me up a wall. I now know I need to correct the installers mistake as my rubber gasket is visible on top. Its the little things like this that make me scratch my head..add this to the mislabeled tank drains and slide buttons.

RE: outback tt

Far too many variables for this to be answered. Even if you posted pictures and model it would still be almost impossible. Take your time inspecting it and go with your gut...its 11 years old and lack of use can cause just as many problems as over use
