RE: A Sad Day For Canada

I heard Bobby Orr was humbled to have his name used in the Good Ole Hockey game song. With all the awards and accolades he got he said that was one of the things he was most proud of. "Bobby Scores"

RE: DOES THIS BUDGET SOUND REASONABLE?

Passport America would probably help with your cam fee budget even if was only between destinations.

RE: Anyone Here Own Their Lot ?

I know some are a part ownership in the RV park and others are where you own the lot outright.

RE: Painting stripes on gel coat

A nice clear coat on top will keep it shining, just make sure the clear coat is the same composition as the paint, lacquer on lacquer.

RE: slide-out leaking--any ideas?

Mine leaked there to, I could actually see light outside, I got the rubber stripping changed around the top and sides changed. They also built up the rubber on each of the bottom corners with a poly urethane rubber caulking, no more leaks, I got them to give me a spare gasket just in case for the future. I got it done in Wildwood Fl at the Holiday Rambler repair center. I also have a black gutter strip on the sides of the slideout, also make sure the side gasket turns out towards the outside at the bottom.

RE: ny to naples

I-10 to 301 south to Ocala, probably the shortest way but also the most irritating way to go the speed limits are from 65-55-45-35 and are heavily enforced.

RE: Noisy Generator

RE: Wintering in Florida

Drain all the water sewer system's well I would even blow out the lines, cover your tires so the sun don't get them, close all the blinds and drapes, if you have a roof vent get a cover on it so you can leave your vent semi open, leave you fridge door open, leave your bathroom door open, disconnect battery, a good coat of wax would be a good option.

RE: Average cost

I'm thinking in Florida, north of Tampa around $500-600/mt for something OK and $800-1000 (average) South of Tampa.

RE: protective front film.

My wife and I removed the plastic protection from the front of our American Dream. Used heat gun, plastic scrapers, goo gone and LOTS of elbow grease. From beginning to end was about eighteen hours. Paint was not damaged at all, looked brand new. Well worth the effort! We now use a bra on long trips... Bill X2

RE: Younger Canadian couple snowbird wannabee's planning ahead

It's a good idea to plan ahead but honestly in todays economy 13 years from now is way far in the future. My best advice is to manage your money, clear all depts, that way you will be ready for the reality of that time. As you get closer to retirement you can refine your plans.. #1 CLEAR ALL DEPTS X2

RE: RV Parks in Nashville Area

Yogi Bear has more room than the KOA or the one next door (forgot the name). We've stayed at all three... Just my opinion. Have Phunn!! X2 for Yogi Bear, Two Rivers is the one next door.

RE: When does snowbird season start?

In Florida I see a lot more snowbirds starting Jan 1 but there seems to be a steady stream starting Nov 1, January and Feb would be the busiest.

RE: Gas grill

This is the one I adapted, I wanted one that would stand alone or be able to put it on a table. Barbeque
